Lines on the Pines, an INDOOR event, celebrating the New Jersey Pine Barrens, is going to College – Stockton University in their CAMPUS CENTER, located at 101 Vera King Farris Drive, Galloway, NJ, 08205. The 13th Annual Event will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM. REMEMBER to set your clocks ahead on this day! This popular book-signing, history, arts, humanities, craft show, and everything NJ Pine Barrens is FREE and open to the public. It is presented by It’s a Sign of the Pines, a 501(c) (3) NJ non-profit corporation dedicated to sharing the wonders of our Pine Barrens.

Join us, as we enter the 13th grade…our Freshman year at Stockton University where five venues offering food items (including breakfast!) will be open in the Campus Center. Come early, have breakfast while waiting for the doors to open, and then spend the day with US! Lines on the Pines is not just an event – it is a unique learning experience.  In this, our 13th year you can also: join a guided walking tour around Lake Fred with local historians and learn some of the fascinating campus history; view the first showing in South Jersey of the documentary, John Hart: Portrait of a Patriot and meet more than 90 “Pine Barrens Celebrities” who will share stories and tales on the arts, the beauty, the culture & the Jersey Devil!

Our sponsors, AtlantiCare – A member of Geisinger, Stockton University School of Arts and Humanities and the South Jersey Culture & History Center, ACUA, Icon Hospitality, NJM Insurance Group, and more, support us in welcoming more than 20 authors to the event. Meet some of the authors from our area such as: Steve Goldhahn, Greenwich: Hal Taylor, THE ILLUSTRATED DELAWARE RIVER: The History of a Great American River; Dennis McDonald, Images of America – Medford; Frank Ferry, Nucky-The Real Story, Bill Sprouse, Domestic Life of the Jersey Devil, and Cathy Antener, Discovering New Jersey’s Pine Barrens.

This huge AHHA event has things to do for the KIDS and the entire family.  Have your picture taken with the Jersey Devil and face painted by Heather Hires, weave a basket, paint a Jersey Devil scene, design a rock turtle, learn about camping & hiking with Michael McCormick of South Jersey Trails, string acorn cap necklaces, learn to recognize some animal life of the NJ Pine Barrens, and more.  And, we have members of the Tri-State K9 Crisis Response Team joining us. Come out and meet their heroes – the DOGS!
