LBI Region Wedding Road Show Returns in April!
The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce (SOCC) is proud to announce the 10th anniversary of their annual LBI Region Wedding Road Show. The event will be held on Sunday April 22nd, 2018 and is free to the public, registration is highly encouraged. The roadshow will consist of a self-guided tour through a variety of participating venues in the LBI region.
For a decade this event has brought thousands of attendees seeking services and venues for their special day; helping to shape the Long Beach Island Region into a true wedding and special event destination. This year for it’s 10th anniversary, the SOCC has expanded the roadshow to highlight more than just wedding planning, and will offer ideas for a variety of party planning needs, from venues to favors and more.
This complimentary event will feature samples, tastings and many chances to win giveaways! Brides and potential party-throwers will have the opportunity to meet directly with vendors and venue coordinators, enabling them to take advantage of booking right at the event.Venues that will be open with showcases include: The SeaShell Beach Resort, Surf City Yacht Club, The Surf City Hotel, The Brant Beach Yacht Club, Parker’s Garage and Daymark. Road Show attendees are encouraged to pre-register to make check-in quicker on April 22.
The Mainland at the Holiday Inn in Manahawkin, NJ will be the registration and check-in location, where all attendees will go to begin the day. Check-in begins at 9 AM, and The Mainland will provide breakfast and tours of their wedding venue and guest rooms. Registered attendees will be given a map of participating locations to then depart on their own for touring and tastings scheduled throughout the day. Road Show touring hours are from 10 AM – 4 PM and check-in will be open until 1 pm.
In addition to the many prizes and giveaways, there will be an opportunity for all who complete the entire itinerary to enter to win an Anniversary Overnight package for a luxury stay at The Mainland. Media sponsors who will also be providing swag throughout the day include NJ Wedding.com, Elegant Bridal, Wedding Set Go, Celebrations Guide and B98.5 FM. The event has also been supported through a grants by NJ Division of Travel and Tourism since its inception in 2008.
