At its heart, the Jersey Devil Fable Festival is a celebration of folklore and the weird and wonderful creatures that haunt New Jersey’s forests, rivers, and shorelines. Guests can look forward to a weekend filled with costume contests, psychic readings, and the unforgettable March of the Cryptids — where creatures of local legend and lore will parade through the streets in a spectacle of spooky pageantry.

This year’s event expands its eerie offerings with the Jersey Devil Fable Film Festival on May 2nd, featuring a curated selection of films perfect for fans of folklore and the supernatural. Adding to the experience is The Pod Barrens, a space dedicated to live podcasts and discussions with paranormal investigators, storytellers, and creators of the strange.

For those craving an extra thrill, a VIP experience will be available, offering an exclusive meet-and-greet with paranormal TV star Adam Berry, local legend Kathy Kelly, and featured filmmakers. VIP attendees will also be treated to a private tour of Asbury Park’s most haunted locations and an after-hours investigation of The Paranormal Museum, guided by Berry and Kelly themselves.

Vendors for this year’s Jersey Devil Fable Festival include a wide variety of artists, makers, and creators such as Dani Holman (That Witch Dani), Violet Imagery, Aries Moon Crystals, Nini Grace, and Factor Entertainment. Guests can also explore offerings from Curious Explorers Podcast, horror and sci-fi writer The Dark Mind of Steven Farkas, Amanda Ligas, Easton Hawk Illustration, and the ever-popular Krampus Store.

Additional vendors include Maker’s Path, The Twisted Dreams Collection, Raven’s Wing Crafts & Things, The Darkest Moonlight Etsy Shop, That Dark Chick, Dave Dick Illustration, ALL Things WEIRD, JackSquatJB, Jamie Snell, CC’s Cookies and Cupcakes, THOMS Laser Engraving, Whimsical Witch, and Groovy Graveyard, and New Jersey Isn’t Boring (hey, that’s us!).
