The biggest names in international brewing will gather at the Meadowlands Exposition Center at Harmon Meadow, 355 Plaza Dr Secaucus, NJ for the fourth annual International Great Beer Expo. This international beer tasting extravaganza will showcase more than 50 breweries from across the globe, each providing samples of their country’s proudest brewing achievement. The biggest names in international brewing are returning to the Meadowlands Exposition Center at Harmon Meadows in Secaucus, NJ on Saturday, January 31, 2015 for the 5th Annual International Great Beer Expo. This international beer tasting extravaganza will showcase more than 60 breweries from across the globe, each providing samples of their country’s proudest brewing achievement-more than 100 beers in all. Shoulder to shoulder with some of America’s best breweries will be amazing beer from Japan, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Poland, Peru, Canada, and others.
“The International Great Beer Expo offers beer enthusiasts a unique pay-one-price opportunity to try some foreign beers from foreign lands,” said Joe Chierchie, representing event producer, Starfish Junction Productions. “We are expecting more than twenty different countries to be represented, delivering an amazing beer experience to all who attend. I think we’ll have another sold out show for 2015,” he added.
The Expo will feature a beer garden, once again sponsored by Leinenkugel Brewing Company and their local beer wholesaler, Nash Beer Distributors, Inc. In addition, specialty lounges will be hosted by Ballantine IPA, Boaks Beer, Sam Adams, New Jersey Beer Co., and Cape May Brewing Company.
Led by industry innovators, the event offers free beer seminars covering topics as varied as selecting and enjoying dark beers; the role of women in the craft beer industry; and an overview and predictions about the craft beer scene in New Jersey.
The International Great Beer Expo will have two sessions: 12:30-4:00 pm and 5:30-9:00 pm. A limited number of tickets will be sold. Once the event sells out, no additional tickets will be available for purchase. Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $42 each when purchased in advance on the event website www.GreatBeerExpo.com . Tickets include admission to the Expo, admission to beer seminars, a souvenir tasting glass, and the freedom to enjoy a 2 oz. sample of any of the beers present at the Expo. Designated driver tickets are available for $10 each. All attendees, including designated drivers, must be 21+ and present valid photo I.D. for admission.
