‘Tis the Season for Holiday Lights in New Jersey Part 2
My goal this season – to see as many Christmas light displays as possible! Here are some epic ones I have made trips to see. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @NewJerseyIsntBoring to see even more awesome light shows! If you find any and post them, use the #njisntboring so I can see them.

For part 2 of my quest, here are 6 more light displays I saw within a week. My first trip took me to three houses in Monmouth County.
Szotak Christmas Spectacular (17 and 19 Niles Ave, Middletown) is a show I went to for the first time last year.
These two houses in Middletown put up an amazing display of characters ranging from minions, to Disney characters, classic Christmas characters like the Grinch, and even the Boss aka Bruce Springsteen himself. Definitely worth checking out! There’s A LOT to take in.
Johnny’s Hazlet Holiday Light Extravaganza (3 Bauer Ave, Hazlet) stepped up their game this year! Not only can you see their display from the front of their house, but you can walk through to their backyard to see even more.
The homeowners love seeing people come by, and even bring Holiday characters like the Grinch and Santa Claus to greet guests.
Last but not least on my Monmouth County house tour was Gress House Lights (14 Johnson Ave, Union Beach) which has so many things to take in! Their house is beauitfully lit up, and they have a lot of Christmas spirit gracing their lawn. The homeowners invited up to come up their driveway to see everything, and they also gave us candy canes. So much fun!
Later this week I took an amazing trip to Cape May which has beautiful lights EVERYWHERE in their downtown. This giant tree can be seen at Congress Hall.
I also took a trip to the Holiday Lights Trolley Ride which is a trip through Historic District of Cape May to see some of the most beautifully decorated houses and inns in New Jersey!
