Hello and welcome to 2021! Wait…2021 started a month ago. Whoops! Where has the time gone and where are all my posts from the end of December until now?

Great question! I decided (without telling anyone) to take a BIG BREAK in January. After my many years of research, January seems to be the quietest month of the year in terms of things happening in NJ, and due to COVID that made things even quieter.

Trust me…I missed you. I missed writing. But what better time to take a break than at a time where not too much is going on (and no advertising money is coming in).

But now it’s February, and despite being one of the coldest months of the year it also means it’s time for Black History Month, Valentine’s Day, the Superbowl, the return of the RHONJ, and much more.

After today you may be sick of me while I give you ideas on how to shop local this Valentine’s Day, NJ Black History Information, why I’m obsessed with watching the Real Housewives, and more.

And the website needs a major update…so I’ve been working on that too.
