Here is my official Holiday and Christmas Lights in New Jersey Guide. My goal this season – to see as many Christmas light displays as possible! Winter WonderLights
Now – January 2, 2022, 5:30PM – 10PM
Over 1.5 million lights are animated to some of your favorite holiday tunes. Guests are welcome to bundle up in their car, bring their snacks/beverages, and tune their radio to enjoy the show to give you an incredible experience.

Dasher’s Lightshow Newark
Now – December 31
Ayana and Siree Morris, owners of Moonlight Cinema, are partnering with Dasher’s Lightshow, one of the fastest growing holiday light companies in the country, to bring an immersive “Drive-Thru Christmas Light Show” to Newark. Families can connect their vehicle’s radio to 97.5 FM to listen to their favorite holiday tunes and watch the hundreds of thousands of lights dance and blink in sync with the music. The light show is open seven days a week, starting at 5 p.m. with the latest entry at 10:30 p.m.

Diggerland Drive-Thru Light Show

Orchard of Lights at Demarest Farms

Join Demarest Farms during the most magical time of year and experience the joy and wonder of the Orchard of Lights. Take your vehicle on a guided tour through 32 acres of brilliant holiday light displays, warm up by the fire pit and enjoy hot cocoa and treats in their retail farm market. Take pictures with Santa, make your own s’mores, listen to Santa’s singing Reindeer, and more.

The Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience will feature 12 areas across the 140-acre park that include live entertainment, music, and plenty of lights, as well as a drive-by encounter with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

South Jersey Holiday Light Show

The South Jersey Holiday Light Show is the premiere drive-through light show in Southern New Jersey. They proudly feature dozens of dazzling displays to delight the entire family. The show is approximately 20-25 minutes long.

Light Show on the Lake

Gather ’round the fire pits at Johnson’s Corner Farm’s Discovery Barnyard to roast marshmallows and watch the lake light up in this breathtaking display. Be sure to hop on the Christmas “Light Show” Hayride to see more of the farm lit up for the holidays.

Holiday Lights Trolley Ride

Take a trip down to the Historic District of Cape May to see some of the most beautifully decorated houses and inns in New Jersey! Take a trolley ride through the Historic District to see the Victorian-style houses and inns decorated for the holidays. Tours begin at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth at Ocean Street. Purchase tickets at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth, at the Carriage Horse or at Hill House Office. Check their website for dates and times. Turtle Back Zoo Holiday Lights
December 10 – 31 (closed Dec 24 & 25), 5PM – 9PM
About 50 animal and holiday-themed figures will light up the winter night in Turtle Back Zoo and the surrounding Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex. Over 100,000 lights will illuminate figures of bears, tigers and elephants, along with holiday lights designed to look like wooden soldiers, stars and winter scenes. Several animal exhibits will be open, including the Sea Lion Sound, Essex Farm, Tam-ring Gibbons Reserve, Tropical Currents Aquarium and the Reptile Building. Myrtle the Turtle, the mascot of Turtle Back Zoo, and several of his winter friends will be on hand to greet visitors at the Zoo. “Selfies” with Santa Claus and a mailbox where children can send letters to Santa Clause at the North Pole will be available each night until December 22nd.

The Holiday Lights Spectacular returns this December 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 26th, 27th & 28th from 4-8pm each night (entertainment 5-8pm) at Jenkinson’s Aquarium. The winter wonderland includes treats, crafts, pictures with Santa*, games, Diving Santa*and Holiday Entertainment!

The Christmas Light Show 2021
December 11 & 12
The Christmas Light Show is back for the 2021 Christmas season with an all-new show and a new location. They will celebrate Christmas on December 11th and 12th 2021 at Spring Meadow Golf Course, shows will be each night at 5:00 and 7:00 PM! Shows are free but they encourage donations to support RallyCap Sports

Let It Glow a Holiday Lantern Spectacular

The Friends of the Bergen County Zoo are pleased to announce that a brand new winter event is happening! Let it Glow – A Holiday Lantern Spectacular. This Extraordinary event is located inside the Bergen County Zoo. Let it Glow is a symphony of vivid glowing colors to tease your eyes and dazzle the mind. Come and enjoy an enchanting stroll throughout the zoo. These larger-than-life lanterns are amazing in picture but stunning in person! With over 30 scenes, these hand-made artistic wonders are more breath-taking than the last!

Christmas Light Spectacular at Allaire Community Farm

Holiday Musical Light Show at the Tropicana
Now – December 27 (Hourly starting at noon)
The free Holiday Musical Light Show features festive lights synchronized to the sights and sounds of the season. Daily shows through New Years’ Day, presented every hour on the hour starting at noon. The Quarter and Palm Walk are beautifully decked out for the holidays, including the Poinsettia Tree and a Jolly Snowman display.

The Village at Anne Ellen Christmas Tree Farm

This holiday village is a new walkthrough Christmas experience at Anne Ellen Christmas Tree Farm. You begin your journey with a hayride through their field of trees, transporting you to interactive displays and plenty of photo ops. You will also find an array of interactive exhibits such as a post office, where you can write and send your
letters to Santa, and their massive interactive wall of lights.

Smithville Village’s Holiday Light Show
Now – January 3, 2022 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM)
Watch in wonderment as over 100 Christmas trees magically float on lake Meone and light up to the music around you. It is an orchestrated show of lights and music played out across the lake.

The Renault Winery grounds have been transformed into a festive winter wonderland! Come experience the Outdoor Renault Rink, designed for skaters of all ages and skill levels! Winter Walk in Taylor Park
Now – February 1, 2022
Follow the lights through a path of handmade snowflakes, courtesy of local Boy Scout Troop 15. The trees along the path are wrapped in lights, the enormous polar bear is the perfect setting for family photos, and the bridge is adorned with hundreds of lights that reflect into the stream that runs along the Main Street section of the park. Continue your stroll along the Main Street entrance, over the bridge near the Bauer Center and then head for hot chocolate or dinner at your choice of numerous restaurants.

The Annual Ferone Family Christmas Light Spectacular

The Ferrone Family invites you and your family, friends and/or those who need some holiday spirit to get out of the car and join the community in this once a year light show spectacular! This year will be bigger and better then ever. Ferone Family Christmas Light Spectacular opens Thanksgiving night and will run through December 27th. Every Tuesday night Disney songs will take over our show to bring some of the magic of Disney world/land in Toms River! The show starts a 5pm

Fleetwood Lights – A Christmas Lights House Display
Now until December 31
Fleetwood Lights, a Christmas lights house display, features almost 19,000 light pixels that are synchronized to music, creating a holiday display that you will not forget. This residence has grown each and every year since it’s inception back in 2015. This year Fleetwood Lights has produced it’s biggest display to date with 40 displays. Come watch the show for free in the comfort of you own car while you listen to FM 92.1 and watch the lights synchronized to music.

This is a free holiday light show that is raising money for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Food Bank of South Jersey. Shows start 5PM daily and end at 9:30PM Sun-Thurs and at 10:30PM on Friday and Saturday.

Valdes Family Christmas Lights
The is a stunning and festive light show synchronized to music. The display features a 22 foot tall mega tree made up of 1,200 lights, over 30 blow molds, motorized props, a snow machine, thousands of lights, and more!
