Good Vibes only at Tindall Road Brewing in Downtown Bordentown

Located on Farnsworth Ave in Downtown Bordentown sits the neighborhood hangout Tindall Road Brewing. With a wide selection of craft beer on tap at all times, the brewery prides itself on using the best quality ingredients with no preservatives.

After homebrewing for over twenty years, owners Dan Pogorzelski and his wife Marci Warboys decided to take it to the next level and open up their own brewery. The name of their brewery was inspired by their home on Tindall Road in Robbinsville. Dan and his neighbor brewed out of their garage and became known for their beers when people would stop by and sample their newest creations. They were known as Tindall Road’s Garage Brewery.

The vision for their brewery was to become a neighborhood watering hole and venue for local musicians. If their location looks familiar it’s because Tindall Road Brewing bought the space from the former Common Sense Brewery who closed its doors in 2019. By purchasing a previously established brewery in an area with great foot traffic, they were able to open up sooner than if they started from scratch.

The brewery is situated in the center of Bordentown’s historic business district with many unique shops, excellent eateries, and rich historical architecture and stories. Since the brewery is unable to sell food, patrons are invited to order food from the many local eateries in town.

Now for the beer…

Tindall Road Brewing offers something for everyone from wheat beers to porter.  Popular beer choices include their Boats N Hoes Blonde Ale,  the Citra Pale Ass Down Pale Ale, their unique stouts, the Hazy Recall IPA, and seasonal selections like their “Santa’s Special Sauce”. The head brewer responsible for all their beers is owner Dan Pogorzelski who you’ll most likely get to meet during your visit.

We enjoyed a few different beers including the “No Stranger to Danger” a Chocolate Raspberry Stout and the “Peach Please IPA”. We also really appreciated the puns that appeared in the names of the beers.

Those who are looking to stop by the brewery should expect a warm welcome at their family-friendly, comfortable taproom. On weekend nights, people can expect to listen to local musicians playing acoustic music.  And once they are able to have their outside seating again, people should expect to enjoy quality hand-crafted brewed beverages in a relaxing Biergarten.
