Golden Star Diner in Ringoes, New Jersey: Review

Oh the Golden Star Diner…

If you’re looking for a typical and classic diner experience, the Golden Star Diner in Ringoes, NJ is a good place to start. As one of the highest rated and affordable diners in Hunterdon County, I was excited to check it out for myself.

The diner menu has all your diner favorites from Greek specialties, a massive list of omelettes, lots of sandwiches, homemade soups, salads, and dessert made on the premises. Their menu really has something for everyone!

I arrived at the diner HUNGRY and in need of something that would fill me up…so I went with one of my diner classics, a chicken gyro. You can never go wrong with a chicken gyro, plus it’s a great way to judge a diner.

The gyro I ordered came with a Greek Salad instead of fries, and it was the most colorful plate I’ve ever seen. And it was delicious! I ate it so quickly…

Overall this was a basic, classic New Jersey diner experience! They get a good rating from me due to their affordability, cleanliness, and quick service.
