Get Hoppy in Red Bank at Red Tank Brewing

Open in one of the hippest downtown’s in Red Bank sits Red Tank Brewing, a brewery that recently celebrated it’s one year anniversary.

Red Tank Brewing was founded by Red Bank residents John & Lovina Arcara out of their love for life, family & the finer things.

They asked themselves: “Why can’t a brewery be industrial – but sexy & beautiful? Why can’t a brewery be the cool, local hangout spot? Why can’t a brewery be a place for those not so well versed in the craft to learn about it without feeling intimidated? It can be, and we are.”

Their decor consists of open rustic ceilings, chandeliers, big screens, and local art.

On to the beer…

Beers they had on tap ranged from hoppy to smooth so we had a flight to try a bunch.

Beers on our flight:
– Sona Gold Kolsch (Kölsch 5% ABV)
– The Amazing Lilly (Belgian Blonde 6.7% ABV)
– Hazy Cosmic Jive (Their Flagship IPA 6.8% ABV)
– The 1810 Märzen (Märzen/Lager 5.5% ABV)

Because we wanted to try even more, I sampled the Saucy Jack Pumpkin (seasonal pumpkin lager) while my husband ordered a pint of the Lens Flare IPA.

Other beers you’ll find on their menu include their Darth Malt Black Saison (Farmhouse Ale – Saison), Broad Street Stout, Hoptology 2.0 Double IPA, Indie Street Wit (Witbier), and the Tempus Fugit (American Pale Ale).

As a family themselves, the Arcaras made sure they were a family friendly brewery. The brewery is spacious with plenty of seating, games to play, and it’s BYOF so you can bring in food from one of downtown Red Bank’s many wonderful restaurants.

They are also a very charitable brewery who regularly give to foundations like Unicef and Wounded Warrior, and donate a portion of their sales from special events and special edition creations.
