Garden State Wine Growers Association has a Passport to New Jersey Wine Country app making it easier than ever to explore NJ wineries. What’s the app?  The app helps you find your way to the 60+ vineyards and wineries in New Jersey and chronicle your journey through New Jersey Wine Country.

Explore the wonderful Wineries of New Jersey, and their Festivals, and Events while you plan your next NJ wine country adventure! Easily discover wineries near you, get directions and enjoy a fun-filled day visiting with Garden State Wine Growers. The association has some 50-member wineries where you can conduct interactive wine tastings, purchase wines direct from the winery, and record your visits in your Wine Trails Passport.

The New Jersey Wine Trails app is available on iPhone and  Droid phones. The App can be found here in Apple’s App Store or by visiting Google play .

Enjoy the excitement of locating your favorite wineries throughout the state of New Jersey. The app allows you all the advantages of the GSWGA’s Passport program and finding events at specific locations. Need directions? The new app will find your current location and help you locate the nearest wine trail.

What is the Passport Program? The Passport Program is designed to show you the wonderful wineries that New Jersey has to offer. Visit any of the Wineries listed in this section, check-in and you will be on your way to winning an all expense vacation to an exotic wine country destination. Complete all Garden State Winery Association check-ins and be entered into our contest. To see our current and past winners please click here.

How To Check In to a Winery? Go to the bottom of the main screen and look for the “Grapes” icon. Tap the icon and you will see a list view of all wineries. Upon arrival at any winery, keep your App open and tap the winery being visited. You must be within 100 feet of the winery location and you must be signed into your account. On the top of the winery profile, you will see a check-in tab.  Hit the check-in tab. If you are in range it will register in the “My Passport section”.

Bookmark your favorite wineries and allow the app to automatically log in to your visit on your private Passport Card while receiving text messages for upcoming news and events.

Complete an entire trail and you will receive a badge along your way. You may need to open and close your App and try a few spots at the desired winery for the GPS to locate your device. Enjoy the excitement of locating your favorite wineries throughout the state of New Jersey. Our new app will allow you all the advantages of our Passport program and locating events at specific locations.
