Garden State Roller Derby Cryptids Clash Double Header this Saturday
On Saturday, August 8, Garden State Roller Derby (GSR), New Jersey’s premier flat track roller derby league, will host GSR’s highly-anticipated 2026 Clash of the Cryptids roller derby doubleheader at the Inline Skating Club of America in North Arlington, NJ. Drawing some of the best roller derby skaters from across the tri-state area, GSR’s annual theme mixer will this year pit Team Loch Ness Monster against Team Mothman in Game 2 as the night’s headline event.
The action-packed doubleheader will kick off Game 1 with the New Jersey Roller Derby Juniors hitting the track at 6 p.m. to take on the Hudson Valley Frightmares, two Junior Roller Derby League teams nurturing some of the area’s top up-and-coming young roller derby talent, featuring skaters ages 8-17.

All proceeds from ticket sales, purchases of limited-edition Clash of the Cryptids exclusive merch, as well as official GSR merch directly fund the continued independent operation of GSR, Northern New Jersey’s first and only 100% volunteer-run flat track roller derby league.
