The Galloway Diner: Review
While traveling on an adventure with my friend and diner enthusiast Hollie (blogger Fueled by LOLZ) we decided to stop by the Galloway Diner, which we had both heard great things about.
Located on White Horse Pike, the Galloway Diner is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just dessert! They have a pretty eclectic menu, so it’s almost impossible not to find something you’ll like.
Because there was so many things on their menu, I decided to just stick to the lunch specials before I got in to deep. There is A LOT of stuff on their menu that I wanted to get, and I didn’t wait to go into indecisive mode.
Ultimately I ordered the “Farmer’s Salad” which came with soup (which I declined, too hot that day), dessert, and coffee or tea. Since it was so hot and I couldn’t substitute iced tea, the waitress suggested hot tea with a cup of ice so I could make my own. She was great. And look how cute this set up is…
The Farmer’s Salad was right up my alley. Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Feta, and Grilled Chicken. And the presentation was an A+.
For dessert I was given many options, including some of their delicious cakes. I got the Chocolate Mousse and was very pleased.
Of all the diners that Hollie and I have been to together, I think we both agreed that the Galloway Diner was our favorite so far. Between the great customer service, great food, affordability…this was a solid diner experience.
Bonus: They have cute lighting!
