North Jersey Orchid Show – Jan 16 – 18

Come and enjoy spectacular orchid exhibits showcasing plants grown in homes and greenhouses across the tri-state area. Free admission, free parking, and twice-a-day drawing for a free orchid. Workshops are scheduled to show you how you can grow orchids in your home. Renown orchid vendors will be on site selling plants and supplies. Fri – Sat 9 am – 6 pm, Sun 9 am – 4 pm.

Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge – Jan 17

Join in the fun of a January Polar Bear Plunge at the Wildwoods Convention Center and the Wildwoods Beach! Registration begins at 10 am. Plunge begins at 1 pm. Event supports training and competition for more than 22,000 athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey.

Old York Cellar’s Winter Festival – Jan 17 & 18

Lambertville New Hope Winter Weekend – Jan 17 & 18

The annual Winter Festival links the twin river towns of Lambertville and New Hope with a display of music, creativity and talent. Come see Mummers bands, marching bands, creative floats, dancers, jugglers, community groups all contributing to the festive atmosphere! You can view the parade on the bridge or anywhere along Bridge Street in Lambertville or New Hope. Proceeds directly benefit many community organizations, social services, school groups and scholarships, along with fire, police and rescue organizations in both towns.

Visit the Hawk Haven tasting room for an exclusive wine tasting of past vintages, also available for purchase.Tasting is $15 and includes a guided tasting of these wines in our premium gold logo wine glass: 2008 Merlot, 2008 Talon, 2008 Quill, 2009 Merlot, 2010 Chardonnay. Team NJCB at Cloverleaf Tavern – Jan 20

The Team NJCB annual Cloverleaf party is scheduled for January 20. If you came out last year you’d know it was a killer time with fantastic beer and people despite the snowy conditions. Here is the information and as always, updates will follow.

We will have an amazing New Jersey lineup of beer on tap all day. The Team NJCB side of the things is from 6-11. We will be there with the following.
