Diner Round Up – The Starview Diner in Somerdale
There are SO many South Jersey diners that when I find myself in the area, I must make a visit to one. This time I visited the Starview Diner, a diner right off of White Horse Pike in Somerdale.
I really enjoyed this diner! They have a great menu, and it took me a while to make a decision on what to get. They even have a cool bar area if you’re looking to just go there to grab a drink.
Ultimately, I ended up ordering a “mini meal” which including soup or salad and two sides for under $11. I can’t pass up a good deal! There is at least 20 different options on the mini meals, and they all looked delicious.
The diner didn’t have my usual matzoh ball soup, so I got a vegetable soup instead. It was one of the best vegetable soups I’ve ever had! For real! It was also in a bowl, not a cup, and I easily could have had this as my meal.
For my main course I got mushroom caps stuffed with crab meat was was really, really good. I also enjoyed my peas and mushrooms side and mashed potatoes, but after trying their fries I wish I got them as my “potato” instead.
Overall, I really dug this diner. I left feeling VERY full.
