Diner Round Up – Stratford Diner
While visiting friends in South Jersey, we went to the Stratford Diner which is located in…Stratford, off of White House Pike.
The diner itself was a very typical NJ diner with a typical diner menu. No complaints about that!
I decided to order a chicken florentine panini, and although their menu screams “no substitutions”, I substituted my fries for corn anyway. In reality, if I wasn’t giving up fries this month I wouldn’t have substituted. Substituting is a pain for any diner or restaurant. You really shouldn’t do it unless you have an allergy. Sorry for being preachy. Here’s my panini:
I know you see fries on my plate…but they were actually for my friend’s chicken fingers and they made a mistake. We swapped. I also should mention I tried a small bite of my friend’s chicken fingers. They were delicious.
Overall this was a good diner. I recommend it. And it’s 24 hours…so that’s always a giant bonus!
