Diner Round Up – Main Street Diner in East Brunswick

I just want to start off by telling you I have been trying to go to this diner for months now and I finally got to go! This diner is super small and not out in plain sight, plus it sometimes looks like it’s not open. It is however a diner, and therefore must be reviewed!

The diner is definitely a LOCAL diner. It seemed like everyone knew each other, it was like the Cheers of diners.  And when I say it’s a small diner, I am not exaggerating. Their was one chef and one waitress serving the entire diner.

It’s also a very old looking diner. It’s alllllll wood paneling, a small counter (where all the regulars sat) and had hotel looking art on the walls.

What it lacks in decor and size is their food. Their prices were great. I got a breakfast special that came with coffee or tea and juice in addition to my very large omelette for under $8. I was also told that their home fries were incredible, and they definitely did not disappoint.

I left this diner feeling very full and grateful that I finally got a chance to go. If you want to go…I would recommend calling in advance to see if their open.
