Diner Round Up – Liberty Two Diner in Bordentown

I got a chance to have another diner date with the fabulous Fueled by Lolz at the Liberty Two Diner in Bordentown, one of the many diners on Route 130.

This diner was super cute and tiny. It is what I think of when I think of a New Jersey diner. Pink booths, checkerboard floors, silver everywhere…I loved it.

We went on a cold day in October, so I was craving something warm to eat. After a lot of decision making, I ended up getting a hot open turkey sandwich.

As much as I enjoyed this sandwich, I forgot to ask to put the gravy on the side and it was SOAKED in gravy. Gravy for days. It was still good, but was not the healthiest thing I could have ordered. It came with a salad or soup, I went with a salad,  and two sides. I got fried eggplant (because I have never seen that as an option before!) and broccoli.

I was full.

If you don’t want to spend $11 on a meal (which I felt was a good price point for the amount of food), their menu is very reasonably priced. They have lots of burgers, sandwiches, dinner specials, plenty of PORK ROLL and of course…breakfast all day. Only downside? No matzoh ball soup!

Overall, a lovely diner experience. You can even get a lottery ticket there!

If you live locally you can also pick up a punch card so you can become a frequent visitor!
