Diner Round Up: Legends Diner in Secaucus

IMG_2760

I’ve been trying to get to the Legend Diner in Secaucus for a while. Since I’m really only in the area when I’m going to the train station, it hasn’t worked out too well in the past. When I was at the Meadowlands Expo Center, it was only 8 minutes away, so I knew it was the time to go!

The Legends Diner is a classic looking diner, mirrors everywhere (inside and outside). The decor is mostly a light pink, pink seats and pink booths. It’s pretty much what I think of when I envision a “New Jersey Diner”.  There is also pictures of different Hollywood “Legends”, hence the name, all over the diner as well.

The price point on this diner is very reasonable. Most of their items were under $10, plus you have a plethora of dinner specials to choose from which include their famous salad bar. Note: I don’t know if their salad bar is actually famous, but it seems to be a common thread in their yelp reviews.

I decided to get the “Legends Burger”, since I wanted to get something that was exclusive to the diner. I asked to get it as a turkey burger and without bacon…so really I got a turkey burger with cheese and avocado. It was still good though! The burger doesn’t look to appealing from this picture, but it was good! The fries were also very good and very plentiful. I did not finish all of them.

Overall, a pleasant diner experience and I’m happy to report that it’s a 24-hour diner so you can go whenever you’d like! If you’re in the area, check out this Secaucus landmark!
