Diner Round Up: Coach House Diner in North Bergen
It’s very exciting when I find a diner that has everything I am looking for – 24 hours, liquor license, salad bar, homemade desserts and accessible parking. It’s rare! Luckily the Coach House Diner and Restaurant had it all!
First impressions of this diner was how beautiful it was. It’s a clean and classy diner, with a beautiful dessert counter and a beautiful bar. You can go here to eat or just grab a drink…24 hours a day!
Another thing I noticed was how big and plentiful their salad bar was. They had big cubes of feta cheese which caught my eye, and had my friend steal for me when he went on line. They have a soup and salad bar combo meal, and my friend got this delicious looking French Onion Soup.
I decided to get the Southwest Chicken Sandwich, which had cheddar, salsa, onion and guacamole. It also came with a side of fries and onion rings. It was great!
They have a big menu ranging from reasonable to very expensive. They definitely have something on their menu for everybody, including breakfast all day, Greek specialties, dessert, sandwiches and more!
This diner has been in business for 75 years and it’s not hard to see why. Their food has great quality, it’s a comfortable environment, and the service was great. Definitely one of my favorite diners.
