Christmas In The Country Wine Trail

Visit three of Warren County’s most unique farms, all within 4 minutes of each other: Mackey’s Orchard & Bakery, Flowerland Growers, and Four Sisters Winery. With a $5 minimum purchase at each farm, you will receive a stamp from each farm. You will receive a beautiful pair of Christmas in the Country Trail embossed wine glasses at your final stop.

Bordentown’s Annual Holiday Chocolate Walk

Enjoy Bordentown City’s YUMMIEST Holiday event as you stroll through the businesses of this historic downtown. Each business offers ‘Chocolate Walkers’ a tasty chocolate treat and a stamp in their Chocolate Passport. You’ll enjoy everything from a piece of chocolate to brownies, and hot chocolate as you stroll the historic downtown business district.

10th Annual Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl

The best crawl of the year is back on December 3rd! Volo formerly Jersey Club Sports is hosting its 10th Annual Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl on Dec 3rd from 2pm-8pm. This year will be the biggest yet with more giveaways and prizes at each bar.This years proceeds helps benefit the Volo Kids Foundation https://volokids.org/. The ugliest sweater will win a GREAT prize! Lots of great giveaways all day throughout the crawl. Enjoy drink specials at all the participating bars. Other drink and food specials as well. ID must be present at all bars. Anyone under 21 years old will not be allowed.

Back by popular demand, our Holiday Tea will be offered to those wishing to visit the beautifully decorated Mathis House Tearoom at 600 Main Street in Toms River on December 6, 2022. Guests may look forward to the ever-delicious scones, yummy tea sandwiches, and scrumptious mini-desserts that accompany generous pots of fine tea as they chat with friends in the historical elegance of this stately home. On Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Riverview Farmers Market will be bringing the Heights Holiday Market, a brand new holiday market pop up, to Jersey City Heights. The one-day rain or shine event will include more than 50 local vendors and will be more artisan- and maker-focused than the traditional farmers market they run during the Summer season. In addition to holiday shopping, visitors can enjoy warm food and drink options from several local businesses like Busy Bee Organics, Fox & Crow, and The Cliff. Along with vending their signature S’mores Hot Chocolate, Busy Bee Organics will also be sponsoring a meet and greet with Santa from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the event.

They’ll be decking the halls and prepping the punch for a weekend of fresh baked Christmas sweets, holiday music and an array of artisan vendors who all hope to offer that perfect last minute addition to your list. The Metuchen Cookie Walk

The Metuchen Cookie Walk is an annual holiday fundraiser for the Fuccile Foundation, which provides financial assistance to local families impacted by the tragedy. The premise of the Metuchen Cookie Walk is simple: bake, buy, give. Local residents bake thousands of homemade cookies that are then sold at the walk. Cookie Walk attendees purchase either a small ($10) or large ($20) box (or multiple boxes!) to fill with the homemade cookies.

Holiday Afternoon Tea

Back for the holiday season! In the grand tradition of Mary Alice Kean, the last lady of the house, join Liberty Hall for its exquisite Afternoon Tea, served every week in the month of December. Our tremendously popular tea service includes a sumptuous selection of scones, assorted pastries, and traditional finger sandwiches. The Holiday Afternoon Tea concludes with an intimate, guided tour of the museum decorated for Christmas.
