The Corner Post Diner in Brick: Review
Open since July 10th, 1995, the Corner Post Diner is a cute little diner located on Hooper Blvd in Brick, NJ. The diner is located on the corner of a shopping center, hence the name.
What I didn’t know when we arrived if that the diner was celebrating their anniversary (which is why I knew when they opened). To celebrate the diner reenacted how they were in 1995 with their original menu and prices. How fun is that?
To say that the Corner Post Diner was offering amazing deals on the day of our visit is an understatement. Every special included a soft drink, soup, and a dessert.
For soup I got their chicken noodle soup which was delightful. Great combo of chicken, veggies, and pasta.
For my entree I got their chicken franchese which came with a side of potato (I chose mashed) and vegetable (I chose broccoli). It was a very fulfilling and delicious meal.
My husband got a grilled cheese with fries, so you can’t go wrong with that.
And for dessert I got bread pudding….which was amazing.
The grand total on both meals for all this food with tax….$12.71! I wish it was 1995 again.
Although the menu I experienced during my visit won’t be the same when you go to visit, you can expect excellent food and service! Some of the things that have stayed the same since their 90s debut is their original baker, a staff that has become more like family, and most importantly… their food quality.
