Chester Food Truck & Music Festival Raises Money for Charity on May 5th
Music to your mouth and all for a great cause. Sample the finest gourmet food while immersed in the sounds of incredible bands and enjoying a multitude of fantastic family activities. Plus it’s Cinco de Mayo! What makes this festival more than just fun in the sun though is that it is also a benefit for the Chester First Aid Squad and Chester Food Pantry. So come on out, bring your family and friends to the Chester Food Truck & Music Festival on Saturday, May 5th, at the Municipal Field in Historic Chester and show your support for these important organizations.
The Chester Festival will feature over 25 trucks. Offering everything from American fare to Colombian, Lobster rolls, Artisan Pizzas, Korean, Empanadas, Tacos, BBQ, Cuban Sandwiches, Steak, Sliders, Wings, Mac & Cheese, Grilled Cheese, Belgian Waffles, Cheesecake, Cupcakes and so much more including a Craft Beer & Sangria Bar featuring libations from Flying Fish. Firestone Walker, Victory, Red & White Señor Sangria.and Dos Equis to help get in the Cinco De May spirit!.
The delicious selection of gourmet food is only the beginning. Get your dancing shoes on for 3 fantastic New Jersey bands. Auguste & Alden, a sibling duo who write and perform original music & covers powered by blood harmonies gets the morning started at 11:00am-1:30pm. They will be followed by Stepping Stone Band, an acoustic alternative country blues rock band from 1:30pm-4:00pm. Closing the night out will be Atlanta Café Band, from 4:00pm-7:00pm, who are always ready to rock! Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets so you can reserve the best seats in the house by the stage and take in the sounds. Furry friends are welcome too and we have watering stations through out the festival!
The Just Jersey Food Truck & Music Festival is a day devoted to fun, culture, music, family, the arts, and fine food. There will be vendors, activities for the kids, including face painting. It is also a day devoted to philanthropy, as the Just Jersey Festival is thrilled to have this event benefit The Chester First Aid Squad. They are an all volunteer, non profit organization that provides basic life support services. This wonderful organization will be on site the day of the festival, they will be accepting donations. We are also asking all attendees to bring a non perishable canned & boxed items to help support the Food pantry and help support those in need.
The Just Jersey Food Truck & Music Festival will be held on on Saturday, May 5th at Municipal Field, 134 Main Street in Chester, NJ.
