Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday held on the Saturday after US Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. This year the event falls on November 26th, and many towns in New Jersey filled with mom-and-pop shops are excited to welcome you to their stores for a special day of discounts.

Downtown Cranford Small Business Saturday
November 21 – 26
Thanks to the generosity of our Cranford business owners we have over $3,000 worth of prizes to give away! Hang onto your receipts from any local shopping you do starting Monday, 11/21, and bring them to Eastman Plaza on November 26th. Every $10 you spend gets you one raffle ticket and the chance to win gift baskets provided by Cranford businesses.
Small Business Weekend in Downtown Haddonfield
November 25 – 27
Small Business Weekend is dedicated to supporting small businesses during one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. Haddonfield, NJ invites everyone to ‘shop small’ at their favorite Haddonfield store or restaurant. Merchants will be going all out to make this shopping experience extra special with incentives, trunk shows and other promotions. Bonus: Friday, November 26 also marks the kick-off to the Downtown’s signature Candlelight Shopping holiday season event, which takes place from 6-9 p.m. Transformed into a winter wonderland, Downtown Haddonfield will be brimming with sparkling white lights and garland wreaths.

Celebrate Sea Isle’s unique Small Businesses and get some holiday shopping done during SIC Shop Small Weekend. Throughout town, businesses will offer deals, discounts and hospitalities as you stroll from store to store to kick off the holiday season! Show your love and support for local business and come out Saturday, Nov. 26th for Small Business Saturday. The Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District will be hosting a kick-off breakfast at The Downtown Shops @ 53 Main, 53 Main St. from 10am-12pm. Fuel up with some breakfast and then head out to tackle that holiday shopping list. Free 4 hour parking in the Irons Street lot, located behind The Wells Fargo Bank.

Small Business Saturday/Winter Wonderland in Montclair Center
Montclair Center BID is partnering with The Wellmont Theater and Pharmacie Bar+Kitchen to celebrate shopping small all season long starting on November 26th at 12PM for Shop Small Saturday. The Winter Wonderland will kick off with live music and special guests at the Wellmont Arts Plaza, located at 5 Seymour Street in Montclair.
Following the Shop Small Saturday event, every Saturday through December 17th, there will be special guests including Santa and Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, Elsa, a unicorn princess, and a hula-hooping elf. Family-friendly activities include kids’ crafts, gnome-making stations, holiday carolers, raffles, and fun activity booths sponsored by local non-profit organizations. If that were not enough Winter Wonderland participants will get two hours of free metered parking, compliments of the Mayor and Town Council.

The businesses who donated to the prize basket are your participating businesses for the Small Business Saturday Shopping Passport! You can pick up a shopping passport at any of the participating businesses on Saturday, November 26th. Make a purchase at any of the locations listed on the card on Small Business Saturday and get a Washington BID sticker. There is no minimum purchase price. Collect a sticker from three locations to complete the passport, one sticker awarded per location. Once a card is completed fill out your contact information on the back of the passport card and submit it to any of the participating businesses.

It’s a holiday shopping tradition, backed by American Express, that celebrates small businesses in towns similar to Red Bank. Red Bank RiverCenter office will be open for the sale of gift cards between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the big day.
