This year, on November 29th, numerous towns in New Jersey, boasting many charming mom-and-pop shops, eagerly anticipate your presence for a day filled with exclusive discounts. The Bell Works Holiday Market in Holmdel, NJ is a FREE festive indoor shopping experience that transforms the iconic Bell Works building into a winter wonderland of local creativity. Small Business Saturday/Winter Wonderland in Montclair Center
On Saturday, November 29th at 12:00PM – 4:00PM, the Winter Wonderland will coincide with the nationwide observance of Shop Small Saturday. This holiday entails shopping at local businesses to support them. Eventgoers can attend the event by heading towards Wellmont Art Plaza at 5 Seymour Street in Montclair. There will be live music, carolers, and appearances made by Santa, Buddy the Elf, The Grinch, Snow Princess, and our Hula Hooping Elf will be joining us! More guests to be announced.

Chester Small Business Saturday
Add November 29th to your calendars because Small Business Saturday is one of the most meaningful days of the year for Chester, NJ. Every gift you pick up in Chester supports a dream, a family, a storefront that lights up on Main Street, a business owner who knows your name, and a community that thrives when we choose local first. Enjoy live music on the street while you shop.

Hackettstown’s Small Business Saturday
Hackettstown is celebrating its small businesses with a special Spin-to-Win event at the Hackettstown BID Office (219 Main Street) from 2–4 p.m., complete with light refreshments. Visitors can spin the Wheel of Chance for a chance to win up to $50 in BID Bucks and other prizes. Each receipt of $20 or more from a Hackettstown BID business on Saturday, November 29 earns one spin. BID Bucks can be redeemed at participating Hackettstown BID businesses. Additional festivities will take place throughout town, including sales and special events, holiday music on Main Street by DJ S.C.3, a roaming performance by the Kudos Barbershop Quartet from 12–2 p.m., and photo ops with the Nutcracker from NJCYB.

Washington Small Business Saturday Shopping Passport Event
Attendees should keep a watchful eye for the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will be making rounds to local businesses between 10 am and 3 pm, offering photo opportunities with shoppers. Pocket Park will come alive with music and various festivities throughout the day. Generous contributions from several local businesses, including gift certificates, goodies, services, and more, have been assembled into a substantial prizes. Shoppers have the chance to win this impressive prize, and the businesses contributing to the basket are the featured participants in the Small Business Saturday Shopping Passport.

Central Jersey:

Keyport’s Miracle on Front Street: Small Business Saturday
“Miracle on Front St – Sip & Shop,” is an event in downtown Keyport where attendees can enjoy a festive shopping experience at participating businesses along Front Street. It’s a perfect opportunity to explore the unique offerings of local stores while enjoying the holiday atmosphere​. The day ends with a tree lighting.

Highland Park Small Business Weekend: Owl Markets, Tree Lighting, Santa, Caroling, and Live Music
Highland Park’s Small Business Weekend offers festive activities  at the pavilion next to 212 Raritan Ave. On Saturday from 4–8 PM, enjoy an arts, crafts, and artisan gift market featuring food, live music, caroling, and a gingerbread house contest. The downtown tree lighting takes place at 6:30 PM, with a special visit from Santa arriving on the Highland Park fire truck. Saturdays with Santa on Flemington’s Main Street
Saturdays with Santa returns to Flemington’s Main Street from 10 am – 3 pm, bringing festive family fun back to the heart of town. Visitors can take free photos with Santa, sing along with Mrs. Claus, and ride a special trolley to visit shops and restaurants in all three of Flemington’s business districts. The event also serves as the launch for Flemington’s annual holiday passport contest, encouraging residents to support local businesses by collecting receipts.

Spring Lake Small Business Saturday + Tree Lighting
Spring Lake will be celebrating Small Business Saturday alongside its annual Christmas Tree Lighting event. The day kicks off at 12:00 PM with special promotions and festivities for Small Business Saturday, encouraging local shopping throughout the town. Additionally, the Christmas Train Village will be open for visitors from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, offering a charming holiday train display at the Duggan Building on Washington Avenue​.

Downtown Cranford Small Business Saturday
Join Cranford on Small Business Saturday to celebrate shopping local this holiday season! Thanks to the generosity of Cranford business owners and sponsors, there will be giveaways with thousands of dollars in gift baskets! Hang on to your receipts from any local shopping you do in Cranford starting Monday, 11/24, and bring them to Eastman Plaza on November 29th. Every $10 you spend gets you one raffle ticket and the chance to win gift baskets provided by our Cranford businesses. Receipts from restaurants, retailers, salons, dry cleaners – if it’s from a Cranford business, it’s a chance to win!

Downtown Metuchen Small Business Saturday

Toms River Small Business Saturday
Show your love and support for local businesses for Small Business Saturday. Fuel up with some breakfast and then head out to tackle that holiday shopping list. There is free four-hour parking in the Irons Street lot, located behind the Wells Fargo Bank.

Shop Small Holiday Tradition – Long Branch’s Pier Village
Pier Village invites the community to celebrate Small Business Saturday® on November 29th, a holiday tradition dedicated to supporting local shops and makers. Guests are encouraged to visit between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM to Shop Small®, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and share the spirit of the day using #shopsmall on social media. Activities across Pier Village include holiday bracelet making at Little Words Project and pottery painting at Blue Skies Pottery, both beginning at 12 PM, along with a cheerful Carousel Sing-Along, the Monmouth Moms Holiday Trail, bowling and VR fun at Pier Pins, and arcade games at Boardwalk Fun and Games. Pier Village thanks all supporters and looks forward to welcoming visitors throughout the celebration.

Small Business Saturday in Somerville
Downtown Somerville invites the community to its Small Business Saturday event on November 29, 2025, from 11 AM to 5 PM, offering a full day of shopping, giveaways, live entertainment, and community activities that spotlight and support local businesses. Highlights include free Downtown tote bags for the first 250 visitors—some containing surprise gift cards—plus Shop Small Bingo Cards that encourage visitors to explore downtown and win prizes. Live music will fill the streets with performances by the Ovation Quartet, School of Rock, Danny Alderman, Cement Gents, and J2K throughout the day. Guests can also enjoy a free gift-wrapping station hosted by the Civic League, special promotions from local shops, dining options at Somerville’s restaurants and cafés, and raffles culminating in a final gift basket giveaway at 5 PM. Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Info Booth on Division Street for maps, swag, and Bingo Cards as Somerville kicks off the holiday season by celebrating and supporting its small businesses.

Downtown Haddonfield’s Shop Small, Brunch Big Weekend
Shoppers are encouraged to shop local and support small businesses during Small Business Weekend! Downtown merchants will be opening early on Saturday & Sunday, November 29 & 30, for those having brunch and/or breakfast at Haddonfield’s many brunch locations. With over 10 locations serving coffee, breakfast and brunch, there’s bound to be an egg with your name on it. Besides, how much leftovers can you actually handle? Waiting for a table? Haddonfield’s historic district is jammed packed with independently owned businesses; with over 4 dozen being women owned. Studies show the for every $100 spent at a locally owned business, nearly $70 stays in the community and contributes to local economic growth. Celebrate your local economy by shopping small while you’re brunch BIG!

Uptown Pitman Small Business Weekend
November 28 – 30

Uptown Pitman will celebrate Small Business Weekend from Friday, November 28 through Sunday, November 30, offering a full lineup of holiday activities, family entertainment, and local shopping. The festivities begin Friday with a 5 PM Santa Parade and Tree Lighting in Ballard Park. On Saturday, visitors can enjoy the Pitman Bucks Sale at Borough Hall at 10 AM, Kids Train Rides at noon, Uptown Happy Hour at 3 PM, a Holiday Sing-A-Long at the Grove Auditorium at 5:30 PM, and Santa in the Parke with trolley rides from 6 to 8 PM. Sunday’s events include a DJ in Ballard Park and Character Dining at Uptown businesses at noon, followed by Santa in the Parke from 2 to 5 PM. Throughout the entire weekend, guests can also participate in the Uptown Elves Scavenger Hunt while supporting local shops and restaurants.

Small Business Weekend in Downtown Hammonton
Downtown Hammonton is inviting the community to enjoy a festive holiday shopping experience filled with exclusive deals, discounts, and special promotions from local businesses. Shoppers can browse unique items from artisans and retailers, take advantage of limited-time offers, and discover bundled gift options throughout the downtown district.
