Boonton Main Street Presents “Student Art Celebration” March 6th

Boonton Main Street, Inc. will host First Friday Late Night: Student Art Celebration on Friday, March 6, from 5-9 PM. Student artwork and photography will be on display along Main Street in Boonton starting on Friday, March 6th and continuing throughout the month of March. Featured artwork is provided by students from Boonton High School, Morris County School of Technology, and Boonton Main Street’s own Speakeasy Art Gallery and Culture Cabin.

“We are looking forward to having a venue for these talented students to display their artwork at our retailer and vacant spaces!” said Boonton Main Street Executive Director, Chris Manzella. “We are hoping that this garners large-scale exposure for the artists while also promoting foot traffic to our historic downtown. We think this is will be a wildly successful event you will not want to miss!”

First Friday Late Night: Student Art Celebration is a great opportunity to experience Main Street’s unique shops, amazing art galleries, and fabulous restaurants. Visitors can enjoy dining, shopping, art galleries, sales, specials, live music, and entertainment as they stroll Boonton’s historic downtown district and admire the artistic talent of local students.

Visitors to Boonton Main Street during First Friday Late Night are encouraged to share photos on social media using the hashtags #BoontonStudents and #BoontonFF.

First Friday Late Nights are a monthly program put on by Boonton Main Street, Inc. to provide retailers and the community a venue to convene to share in the joy of all that the Boonton Main Street district has to offer. It continues the year long sentiment of Shop Small that has become the mantra of downtown shopping districts across the United States.
