Beers, Brats, and Big Pretzels at Zeppelin Hall

Zeppelin Hall is an authentic European Style Biergarten located in Jersey City, NJ. It’s fun, friendly, and laid back bar and restaurant that serves up amazing German food,BBQ, and a monthly themed menu featuring everything from a “Baconfest” to a New Orleans Style menu.

Zeppelin Hall has A LOT to choose from if you’re looking to grab just a drink there. They have wine, cocktails, and over 100 beers ranging from local to craft beer to imported beer. You can also get a flight if you so choose to:

Zeppelin Hall makes it easy for you to get your food. You simply order it and pick it up! There is no pushy waitstaff, they just want you to have a good time.

The restaurant is known for their specialty sausages so if you’re looking to try them all you should definitely order the “Full House Wurst Plate”. We got to try 6 different sauces including bratwurst, kielbasa, chicken brat, andoullie, and more. Perfect to share with friends!

I had the opportunity to speak to Chef Franco Robazetti who goes all over the country to discover new menu items for Zeppelin Hall’s specialty themed menu. He ensures that everything he makes is as delicious and authentic as possible. He has even driven 3,652 miles in 17 states just to find the best BBQ! I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next!

While we were there we were lucky enough to experience their “Ragin for Cajun” New Orleans menu and got to have their NOLA Crawfish Boil. As someone who has been to New Orelans, I can vouch that their menu is as authentic as they come.

If you’re going with a group, you must get one of their samplers that can be served in a GIANT pretzel. We got to try the best of their BBQ menu, potato salad, and more in the biggest pretzel I have ever seen in my life. It is meant for 4-6 people, and we were only two…so we definitely got some looks.

Zeppelin Hall is definitely one of the largest bars I’ve been to, and the largest in Jersey City (they have parking too!). Their outside beer garden is AWESOME and  a great place to spend time with friends hanging out. We were there on a somewhat warm day in Winter, and people were hanging outside by the firepit.

If you’re looking for your new favorite bar, Zeppelin Hall may be it! Great food, great atmosphere, live music and DJs on the weekend, in a convenient location accessible by public transportation.
