Food, Live Music, and Family Fun: The Bayonne Food Truck Fest Returns May 9th

Get ready to clear your calendars, because the City of Bayonne is rolling out the red carpet (or rather, the asphalt) for a massive community celebration! On Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 12 pm – 7 pm, Avenue E will transform into a food lover’s paradise for the Bayonne Food Truck Fest.

With 30 food vendors lining the street, you’ll want to arrive hungry. The lineup is a “Who’s Who” of the Garden State’s best mobile kitchens. We’re talking about the legendary Angry Archies, the gooey goodness of Mozzarella G-d, and the crispy delights of The Nugget Spot.

Looking for international flavors? You can take your taste buds on a world tour with Athens Delite, Taste of Poland, Noodle Wala, and Ma & Pa’s Tex Mex BBQ. And don’t even think about leaving without dessert—House of Cupcakes, Waffles and Dinges, and Cold Stone Creamery will all be on deck to satisfy your sweet tooth.

The festival atmosphere is going to be electric. You can grab a cold one at the Beer Garden or head over to the stage to catch live performances by The Suyat Band and the high-energy sounds of Who Brought the Dog.

For the families, there is plenty to keep the little ones busy, including kids’ rides, sand art, and interactive fun from Funster. Plus, you can browse local merchants like Bedu Clothing and Jewelry and Golden Light Jewelry for a little retail therapy between snacks.

Good news for pet parents: Furry friends are welcome! Just a pro-tip from your friends at NJIB: since the event is held on the street, keep an eye on the temperature. If it’s a scorcher, be mindful of those puppy paws on the hot pavement!

The Best Part? Admission is FREE! That’s right—no tickets, no cover charge, just pure community vibes.
