Twiggy the Waterskiing Squirrel – The world’s most famous watersports-loving squirrel returns to the Atlantic City Boat Show! Twiggy will amaze and entertain as she waterskies behind a radio-controlled boat in her very own pool (Wed-Fri: 4 pm, 6 pm; Sat: Noon, 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm; Sun: Noon, 2 pm, 4 pm).

– An estimated 100 million Americans go boating each year.
– Ninety-five percent of boats sold in the U.S. are American made.
– The personal watercraft category, often a gateway to boating given the category’s entry-level pricing, saw an estimated 13% growth (approximately 80,000 units) in 2023 and was a key driver of overall new powerboat sales.

NEW JERSEY BOATING BY THE NUMBERS
New Jersey Boating Sales totaled $726.5 million in 2022 including new powerboats, outboard engines, boat trailers and aftermarket accessories. NJ ranked 14 in total marine expenditures in 2022. Boating has a $6.6 billion economic impact in NJ, supporting 20,177 jobs and 1,193 businesses.
