An Unforgettable Dining Experience At Annual HAM Fundraiser – Sept 19th, 2015
Dine, dance and do a good deed by attending the Hunterdon Art Museum’s annual ArtParty fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Museum.
ArtParty will feature an unforgettable dining experience expertly prepared by nearly 20 chefs and culinary artisans, great live music on the Museum’s terrace with the Hot Club of Flatbush, and a silent and live auction.
Proceeds from the fundraiser directly support the Museum’s exhibitions and art enrichment programs including those for homeless families, at-risk youth and people with autism and other disabilities.
“Whether you come for a fabulous meal, the live music or to take home an inspiring work of art, this will be a truly memorable evening,” said Marjorie Frankel Nathanson, executive director of the Museum. “Attending ArtParty is the perfect way to show your support for the Museum and the arts in Hunterdon County, and what could be better than having an extraordinary meal at one of the state’s most picturesque sites?”

Guests will also be treated to live music by The Hot Club of Flatbush, a Brooklyn-based band inspired by the American hot jazz and Parisian acoustic jazz bands of the 1920s and 1940s.
A silent auction will feature the opportunity to take home one-of-a-kind works of art. A live auction will also offer the chance to bid on experience packages. Eliane Talec of Rago Arts will serve as auctioneer.
Each year, the Museum recognizes a member of its community with its Cornerstone Award. This year, the museum will present the award to Jim Pruznick who has taught Artistic Expressions, the Hunterdon Art Museum’s class for adults with developmental disabilities, for 25 years. “Jim’s dedication the arts and to teaching is exceptional,” Nathanson said.
