Here is my official Holiday and Christmas Lights in New Jersey Guide. My goal this season – to see as many Christmas light displays as possible! Adventure Aquarium Christmas Celebration (Camden)– Adventure Aquarium’s Christmas Celebration will feature larger-than-life decorations, twinkling lights, glowing trees, and gently falling snow – not to mention 8,500 super cool animals and two million gallons of fun. Festivities include exciting live shows, daily appearances by Scuba Santa in our Ocean Realm exhibit, character appearances, and more!

All Aboard DiDonato’s Magical Holiday Express (Hammonton) – All aboard a magical train ride through an enchanted Holiday Town. Guests of all ages can enjoy an outdoor train ride through a magical Christmas village with millions of lights. Santa and his elves have a special gift for all the children when you visit his workshop. More lights and more surprises are planned for this year’s experience.

Christmas Ice Caverns (Fairfield) – The “Christmas Ice Caverns” are an Animated children’s display that children walk through and see dozens of storybook displays in a Christmas Themed setting. You can see Disney characters sleigh riding in the snow, Santa’s candy factory, Santa’s reindeer feeding barn, toy story figures, a life-size Nativity, and much, much, more.

Christmas Light Show Hayrides (Medford) – Thousands of twinkle lights to create a Holiday Wonderland in the Discovery Barnyard and Animal farm. To complete your holiday experience they will also have a campfire going to roast marshmallows and make s’ mores. Plus, lights on the lake! Historic Smithville Holiday Light Show (Smithville)- Enjoy popular songs of the Holiday Season synchronized with a dazzling Christmas tree light show sure to get you in the Holiday spirit.

Sea of Lights at Jenkinson’s Aquarium (Point Pleasant) – Join Jenk’s for an indoor light spectacular and tons of other familiy fun. $7 Aquarium Admission, Make & Take Crafts, Visits with Singing Princesses, Scuba Santa, Games and MORE.

Holiday Lights Trolley Ride (Cape May)– Take a trip down to the Historic District of Cape May to see some of the most beautifully decorated houses and inns in New Jersey! Take a trolley ride through the Historic District to see the Victorian-style houses and inns decorated for the holidays. Tours begin at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth at Ocean Street. Purchase tickets at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth, at the Carriage Horse or at Hill House Office. Check their website for dates and times. Holiday in the Park (Great Adventure, Jackson) – Holiday In the Park will run November weekends and select days through January 1, 2018. Millions of glittering lights, dazzling holiday entertainment, delicious seasonal treats, Santa’s village, animals and many popular rides will magically transform the summer thrill destination into a winter wonderland, and will be included with all season passes and active memberships. Stunning light shows, illuminated, towering trees, the iconic smell of fresh pine and crisp peppermint filling the air and festive street vendors offering sweet and savory treats will provide a multi-sensory journey of winter delights. Kids can join Santa in his workshop for a fun photo opportunity. A new entertainment program will feature a tree lighting spectacular, grand stage production, live carolers and a nightly awe-inspiring finale. Regardless of the weather forecast, a touch of magic will ensure that snowflakes fall gently every evening.

Skylands Stadium Christmas Lights Show (Augusta)– Experience a spectacular Christmas Light Show at Skylands Stadium! Drive through a 1-mile course of breathtaking displays set to joyous holiday music. They will have more than 2 MILLION LIGHTS for your viewing pleasure.

Storybook Land’s Christmas Fantasy with Lights (Egg Harbor Township) – Storybook Land hosts this fabulous holiday celebration, with Santa himself illuminating the lights. This magnificent display features over one millions lights! Children can visit Mr. & Mrs. Claus until December 23rd, when it’s time for them to return to the North Pole. All rides, attractions and snack bars are also open during this time.

Turtle Back Zoo Holiday Lights (East Orange) – About 50 animal and holiday-themed figures will light up the winter night in Turtle Back Zoo and the surrounding Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex. Over 100,000 lights will illuminate figures of bears, tigers and elephants, along with holiday lights designed to look like wooden soldiers, stars and winter scenes. Several animal exhibits will be open, including the Sea Lion Sound, Essex Farm, Tam-ring Gibbons Reserve, Tropical Currents Aquarium and the Reptile Building. Myrtle the Turtle, the mascot of Turtle Back Zoo, and several of his winter friends will be on hand to greet visitors at the Zoo. “Selfies” with Santa Claus and a mailbox where children can send letters to Santa Clause at the North Pole will be available each night until December 23rd.

The Winter Light Walk at Crystal Springs Resort (Hamburg) – Join us at the area’s most sensational holiday light show where you’ll experience a walk-through winter holiday fantasy featuring breathtaking displays, joyful holiday music and complimentary hot chocolate. While on property, be sure to visit the all new Gingerbread Village featuring the New York City skyline. Experience the holidays like never before at Crystal Springs through January 2018.

Houses that Love to Get in on the Fun:
The Christmas Lights Show (Wall Twp) – The Christmas Light Show is a Free world class computerized lighting and pyrotechnic show. Returning for its 10th year, this incredible event has become an area tradition. The show is very much like attending a Disney World concert, featuring pyrotechnics, fog, color changing effects, and thousands of lights synchronized to music broadcast over a concert quality sound system. Don’t miss this one of a kind Christmas event in Monmouth County, NJ! The show benefits a local charity through donations from its viewers. Please consider making a donation to Challenged Youth Sports, Inc. when you attend. They recommend a donation of $20 for a family of 4.

Cranbury Christmas Lights (Cranbury) – This house, which is located on Main St in Cranbury, also has their own radio station that syncs up with lights. Speaking of lights, they have over 120,000 lights which can be some from space. This house is free to visit, but they are also accepting money for charity so please consider donating if you can. They play their music outside, and have fire pits to people can stay for a while. Check them out on Facebook!

Kloos Family Lights (East Brunswick) – This house was definitely cool to check out. Their lights are synced to their very own radio station! The light show is free to view, but they are currently raising money for charity so please donate if you go to visit (and be respectful of their neighbors) . Check them out on Facebook!
