New Jersey Events February 16 – 18:

New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo
February 15 – 18, 11 am – 7 pm
The New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo is organized by the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ). The show is being held February 15- 18, 2024 at the NJ Convention & Expo Center in Edison, NJ. The show features something for every age and interest with hundreds of boats on sale from the top dealers in the state as well as an expansive boater’s marketplace full of boating accessories and services, boating and fishing seminars, activities for the little boaters and much more. Head to the New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo to see all that is new and exciting in boating!

Oh So Sweet Galentine’s Event!
February 16, 5 pm – 8 pm

Love is in the air this Galentine’s at MarketFair! On Friday, February 16th, from 5pm to 8pm, guests are invited to indulge in all things sweet at this delightful event. Activities include candy charcuterie board making with All Aboard Candy, where attendees can learn the art of arranging a stunning board filled with a variety of sweet treats. Eternal Permanent Jewelry will be on-site offering a selection of permanent jewelry to add a touch of sparkle to your Valentine’s Day. Williams Sonoma will be serving mocktails and light refreshments throughout the evening. Pre-registered guests will receive a complimentary gift from Williams Sonoma, along with other celebratory take-home goodies. FLIP CIRCUS 2024 Tour

FL!P Circus, available at www.FlipCircus.com, has been captivating audiences since its debut in 2022. The intimate big top experience, crafted by the Vazquez family, is embarking on a new journey with the Tour ’24 production. Recognized as one of the premier family entertainment events in America, the latest show has been carefully curated to highlight an extraordinary and diverse ensemble of international human performers. The national tour of this new production commences at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ, from February 16 to March 5.

Mike’s Seafood Run/Walk for Autism
February 17, 9:30 am

Join in for the 16th Annual Mike’s Seafood Run/Walk for Autism on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Runners will hit the promenade for this charitable event, and post-Run/Walk, participants can gather in the expansive heated tents at Excursion Park. There, they can relish live music, an awards ceremony, door-prizes, and engaging entertainment like magicians and face painting for the kids. The event fosters a family-friendly atmosphere in Sea Isle City, NJ, drawing over 4,000 runners and walkers united in supporting children with disabilities. To enhance the experience, attendees can treat themselves to a generous buffet featuring bagels, donuts, pastries, soft pretzels, fruit, and drinks.

Red, White & Brew Fest
February 17, 12 pm VIP 1 pm General Admission

The Red, White & Brew Fest, presented by 107.1 The Boss, Thunder 106, and B985, takes place at the CURE Insurance Arena on Saturday, February 17th, 2024. The event includes a VIP Session from 12 PM to 1 PM and a General Admission session from 1 PM to 5 PM. In the late 1750s, George Washington recorded a recipe for “small beer” in his notebook while serving as colonel of the Virginia Militia during the French and Indian War. This historic moment is commemorated during Presidents’ Weekend 2024 with a patriotic sampling event at the inaugural Red, White & Brew Fest, featuring over 50 styles from craft breweries, wineries, and spirits. Attendees can enjoy samples, live music by Nine Deeez Nite, interactive games, contests, and more in the celebration of American history.

Maple Sugaring at the Hermitage
February 17, 1 pm – 4 pm

The Hermitage Master Gardeners will be tapping about 15 trees on the grounds of the National Historic Landmark. Families and friends are invited to learn how to tap maple trees and the importance of maple sugaring to the Lenape and early Dutch and English settlers in Northern New Jersey. Children 12 and older and adults will also be able to tap the trees with the Master Gardeners. Guests will be sent home with the equipment to tap the trees in their yards and instructions on boiling the sap into syrup. During the event, a small concession stand featuring hot beverages and maple sugary snacks will also be open.

Maple Sugaring
February 18, 12:30 pm – 4 pm

What a tasty way to spend a winter afternoon! Bring the whole family and enjoy a program about maple sugaring, the oldest continuous industry in North America. On this self-guided hike, you’ll follow a map and visit multiple interactive stations along the Rancocas trails. Learn about the Sugar Maple tree and the history of maple sugaring, observe a tapping demonstration, and enjoy a maple syrup tasting. To ward off the chills, we’ll have an old-fashioned campfire burning.
