Free Comic Book Day
May 4

Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) 2019 features an amazing selection of comic book titles for the industry’s most anticipated annual event which happens Saturday, May 4, 2019 at participating comic book shops worldwide. Comic shop retailers chose fifty-one titles overall to be available on Free Comic Book Day: twelve Gold Sponsor comics and thirty-nine Silver Sponsor comics that give fans a great opportunity to discover new titles and genres. This year’s announcement of Silver Sponsor comics includes such great titles as Minecraft & Disney’s The Incredibles, Little Lulu, Bob’s Burgers, The Amazing Spider-Man, My Hero Academia, Star Wars Adventures, and more.

Stranger Con
May 4 & 5, 9:30AM – 7PM

This convention will celebrate a show you love so much, and the people who make it what it is…Stranger Things! The event will bring you the stars of Stranger Things, parties, music, panels and more fun! Meet your favorite actors from Stranger Things and interact with them in ways you never thought possible.

Asbury Park Punk Rock Flea Market
May 5, 10AM – 5PM

The Asbury Park Punk Rock Flea Market takes over the iconic Convention Hall three times a year to bring you a distinctively curated selection of vinyl, music equipment, vintage clothing, macabre artwork, handmade jewelry and other original creations from over 125 vendors.

East Coast Comic Con
May 17 – 19

As the major conventions grow exponentially, but focus less on comics, East Coast Comic Con felt a good old-fashioned con with a strong emphasis on comics was needed. Their mission is to bring great guests and keep comics and its creators the focus of our shows.

6th Annual New Jersey Paraunity Expo
May 18, 11AM – 6PM

There will also be paranormal groups from all across nj and beyond, some of New Jersey’s best mediums, lecturers, authors, and lots of unique vendors. There will definitely be something for everyone!!

New Jersey Renaissance Faire
Saturdays and Sundays, May 18 – June 2, 11AM – 6PM

The New Jersey Renaissance Faire is an event of epic proportions! This year, the Faire celebrates its 10th glorious season. Located on the beautiful 60 acres of Liberty Lake, the Faire is the largest festival of its kind in the state of NJ, and has made a name for itself as the most interactive Renaissance Faire in the country. A renowned local destination for family entertainment, seven stages host a variety of performances each day of the Faire, including sword fighting, music, comedy, fire breathing, and aerialists. Over 50 actors welcome guests as they enter through the castle gates! In addition to the 7 hours of non-stop entertainment, there is an extensive merchant village featuring the work of talented artisans, and delicious food and drink, including Beer and Wine courtesy of the South Jersey Celtic Society and Valenzano Winery.
