Dark Force Fest 2024
April 19 – 21

From VampireFreaks, the company behind ‘Dark Force Fest’, ‘Dark Side of the Con’ and ‘Triton Festival’, comes their largest event yet! Taking place at the ‘Sheraton Parsippany’ in Parsippany, NJ (just an hour from NYC), this three-day extravaganza features over 30 top industrial, goth, metal, and alternative bands from around the world performing on two stages. The event kicks off with a pre-party at QXT’s on Thursday, April 18th, followed by the main event from Friday, April 19th to Sunday, April 21st, 2024. Attendees can enjoy drag queen and sideshow performances, club events, and explore 100+ vendors. The event also includes panels, presentations, and activities for all ages. VIP tickets offer exclusive meet and greets, photo ops with headliner bands, a souvenir, and access to the VIP lounge. While all ages are welcome, some events are 18+. Kites at the Pier Festival

A day of great family fun featuring kite flyers from all areas of the eastern seaboard flying their most incredible creations! Every kind of kite imaginable will be at the annual Kites at the Pier Festival. Kites of all shapes and sizes – from inflatable flying creatures to traditional kites – will be flying high over the beach between Avenue and McLoone’s Pier House in Long Branch. A dazzling display of giant kites will be visible for miles and miles.

Fur Baby Food and Music Fest

In collaboration with the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter, the event aims to find forever homes for dogs, cats, and other small animals. Highlights include 15+ food vendors, live music by Grand Theft Audio NJ and Guy Smiley, face painting, a doggie agility course, a pet costume contest, and games for all ages. The event takes place from noon to 7p, and admission is $6 (5 and under are free). FASTPASS tickets are available in advance. Proceeds and alcohol sales directly benefit Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter, making it a pawsome cause.

The Beer Run
April 20, 12 pm

Join The Beer Run, where your fellow runners become your drinking buddies! Participants can walk or run a 5K route through a charming historic village and scenic nature trails, concluding at a craft beer festival featuring the finest beer and cuisine in New Jersey. Each ticket includes race registration, 12 small beer tastings, a souvenir glass, and admission to the festival with live music, games, and a variety of food trucks. For those who prefer not to run, festival-only tickets are available. Special designated driver tickets are also offered for those abstaining from alcohol. Murder Mystery Dinner at Four Sisters Winery

Mysterious Happenings at Four Sisters Winery. It’s a Murder at the winery! Who knows the details? Guests have assembled and the celebration begins. The jubilant celebration comes to a halt when one of the characters mysteriously dies! Who’s the victim? An enchanted, fun-filled afternoon accompanied with a delicious lunch of Chicken Parmigiana, pasta, salad, bread & dessert is just the beginning. Beginning with a formal wine tasting, attendees receive insight to the S’s of wine tasting sampling a selection of red and white wines. Following the wine tasting, dinner will be served concluding with dessert and dessert wine. Characters are selected and the mysterious plot of the evening begins. Dinner guests partake in an interactive story-line adding some spice to their character description. As the plot thickens and unravels with twists and turns participants seek to unveil who’s the culprit of the crime! Once the murder is solved, awards will be given for Best Actor and Best Actress. The cost is $50 per person and includes tax, and a wine glass.
