Collingswood Food Tour

Fall Chili Cook-Off at the Meadowlands Racetrack
November 5

The Meadowlands Racetrack is keeping things spicy this fall with the Fall Chili Cook-Off scheduled for Saturday, November 5th. The competition features homestyle, chili verde and salsa categories. Not a cook? Free samples will be given for the People’s Choice vote following the 8 pm turn in. Cook-off takes place in the Food Court & outdoor East Apron.

To continue an annual tradition in the community, Mayor Susan Shin Angulo and Cherry Hill Township are proud to once again host Cherry Hill Restaurant Week from November 12-19, 2022. This year, the goal is to help showcase Cherry Hill’s vibrant and diverse restaurant community, by offering patrons a specially priced menu. Restaurants have the choice of offering a 3-course dinner menu for $25, $35 or $40. Several restaurants will also offer a 2-course lunch menu for $15 or $20.

Bordentown is easily accessible from the River Line light rail system, located on West Park Avenue. This three-hour walking food tour will include historical information about the town during the American Revolution. As you travel down the streets of Bordentown, you’ll see many sights, including the home of a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and the first female sculptor and spy.

GSWGA’s Holiday Wine Trail Weekend
November 25 – 27
Beginning on Black Friday and continuing through the weekend, shoppers will have a few cozy and enjoyable stops to make before rushing home with their treasures. Winery tasting rooms from Sussex to Cape May will invite patrons to travel the New Jersey Wine Trail, with special tastings, entertainment, food pairings, discounts and sales. The Garden State Wine Growers Association’s annual Holiday Wine Trail Weekend is held at over 45 participating New Jersey wineries and vineyards statewide.

Winter Village at the Red Mill Museum
November 25 – 27, 10AM – 6PM

Marketspace Vendor Events joins The Red Mill Museum Village’s 12th annual Festival of Trees 2021 and Dicken’s Days to bring you the Winter Village at The Red Mill. This three-day outdoor, tented and heated, winter craft market in the heart of Clinton, New Jersey features over 40 local craft artisans, activities, and food trucks each day. The Red Mill Museum Village’s annual Festival of Trees is comprised of a decorated tree and wreath silent auction fundraiser benefiting the museum’s preservation. Guests are invited to tour 12 historic buildings on the beautifully decorated grounds of the museum while enjoying performances by Clinton’s ‘Dickens Days’ theatrical carolers.

Mount Holly Food Tour
November 26, 1PM – 4PM

This three-hour food tour will include historical information about the town as you walk through the narrow streets of Mount Holly. You’ll taste what The Robin’s Nest is known for and that’s their homemade soups. We’ll stop by the multi-award-winning Kitchen 87 for a Mexican breakfast. The newest restaurant on the block is Yaad Man Restaurant & Grill for a taste of Jamaican Cuisine. The tour will also consist of a sampling of alcoholic beverages. Village Idiot Brewing Company will have a choice of craft beers available. To wrap up the tour, there will be a sweet treat at Vincent’s Homemade Ice Cream.
