Get ready to experience the ultimate North 2 Shore Festival Market at Asbury Park Bazaar, filled with unique vendors, music, and delicious food & libations! It’s all happening during the North 2 Shore Festival, Saturday & Sunday, June 15 & 16, 12 pm – 5 pm, in the Grand Arcade of Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ. The event is free for all ages. The North To Shore Jersey festival
June 10 – 30

This month-long New Jersey festival features all the talent, diversity and creativity this great state has to offer. Hosted by three incredible and unique cities, Atlantic City (June 10–16), Asbury Park (June 17-23), and Newark (June 23-30), the North To Shore festival will bring together 50+ venues for an over-the-top showcase of Jersey-wide. In addition to many rising stars, they will be joined by global headliners like Kevin Hart, Bleachers, an Evening with Stephen Colbert and Paul Giammati, Matchbox 20, the Barenaked Ladies and more.

Jersey City Comedy Festival
June 11 – 15

Art House Productions is thrilled to announce the return of this year’s Jersey City Comedy Festival (JCCF) from June 11th to 15th, 2024, in Jersey City, NJ. The festival will span across two premier locations: Art House Productions and The Laugh Tour Comedy Club at Dorrian’s Red Hand. Headlining the 2024 Jersey City Comedy Festival are Rachel Feinstein on Tuesday, June 11, at 8:00 pm, and Kyle Gordon on Wednesday, June 12, at 8:00 pm, both at Art House Productions. Fifty comedians from across the US and Canada were selected from over 220 submissions. These chosen comics will compete in five competition showcases, with audiences voting for their favorite comedian at each showcase to advance them to the finale on June 15. All ten finalists will receive paid spots at The Laugh Tour Comedy Club, and two comics (one audience pick and one industry pick) will win the coveted “Best of the Fest” title along with $500 each. Additionally, the final two will secure spots at independently produced shows at Rodney’s Comedy Club [formerly Dangerfield’s], QED Astoria, Rye Comedy Club and the Manhattan Comedy School Showcase at Gotham Comedy Club.

Tri-County Fair

It’s the 10 year anniversary! This event features Carnival rides games of chance, pony rides, and fun fair foods with free family entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks show on Friday evening.

Beardfest

Beardfest is a festival that celebrates the creative spirit in all of us. Paterson’s 4th Hamilton Arts Festival

The Paterson Performing Arts Development Council (PPADC) is thrilled to announce its 2024 Annual Hamilton Arts Festival (HAF). Now in its fourth season, the festival runs June 13 – 22, 2024, and features a series of events designed to promote and showcase the works of underrepresented and underserved artists from theater, film, and other disciplines.

Stop by The Village Greene at Historic Smithville from 5-8 p.m. to see some spectacular vehicles on display, or show off one of your own. The Car Cruises is a perfect hang-out for all car enthusiasts to see, show, and talk cars. Historic Smithville also offers 50 Shoppes, 7 eateries, carousel ride, train ride, paddle boats, on site lodging at the Colonial Inn and over 26 free weekend events.

Pride Under the Stars
June 14, 8 pm 10 pm
Pride Under The Stars returns to Spiotta Park on Friday, June 14th, at 8 PM. Join North Jersey Pride, South Orange Downtown, and South Orange Village for an unforgettable PRIDE celebration. This 21+ event, hosted by the fabulous Honey Marie, will feature beats by DJ Sanchico, a 360 photo booth, and a cash bar.

While admission is free, attendees are encouraged to consider making a donation to North Jersey Pride at the event. North Jersey Pride, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ youth and families through programming and events in the Garden State. The rain date for this event is Friday, June 21.

Concerts on the Beach in Somers Point
June 14, 7 pm – 10 pm

Voted the #1 free outdoor concert series in America for 2023 by USA Today, free concerts are held on the beach in Somers Point every Friday night from 7-10pm, from June 14th to September 6th. The series features a variety of music genres, including classic rock ‘n’ roll, Americana, roots rock, country rock, blues, reggae, jam, and soul. Attendees are encouraged to bring their beach chairs and enjoy dancing under the stars.

Sustainably Green Music & Arts Festival
June 15, 10 am – 5 pm

The Sustainably Green Music and Arts Festival returns to Washington Borough, NJ on June 15th, 2024 from 10am to 5pm/ A fill day of live music, ecofriendly vendors, crafters, artists, free kids activities, shopping, & dining. The event includes activities relating to the environment, green practices, and recycling initiatives. Don’t miss out on the multiple live musical acts throughout the day, free activities, and plenty of vendors. Musical lineup includes Verdict, Gypsy Funk Squad and Avoiding Foreclosure. This is also the kickoff to their Farmer’s Market season, which runs every Saturday from 10am-2pm through September 30th.

Boonton Rainbow Pride
June 15, 11 am – 4 pm
At 11:00, the Boonton Elks Lodge hosts the annual pride flag raising in front of the Lodge. At 12:00, activities move to Grace Lord Park, featuring speakers, performers, a town proclamation, and another flag raising. From 12:00 to 4:00, attendees can enjoy DJ and dancing, crafts, lawn games, a community rainbow art installation, non-profit resources, the Raise Your Pride interactive flag display, and a pride pole.

Elmwood Park’s Multi-Cultural Street Fair
June 15, 11 am – 5 pm

Hosted by the Elmwood Park Recreation Department, this event on Market Street and the Recreation Field from 11 am-5 pm, rain or shine, will feature a giant block party with quality exhibitors, an arts & crafts section, live entertainment, kiddie rides & games, festival foods, and more. Local organizations are welcome. Enjoy live music, dancing, karate demonstrations, and carnival favorites like sausage & pepper sandwiches, cheese steaks, kettle corn, and more. The “Kidz Traveling Shindig” offers kiddie bounce rides, slides, face painters, sand art, and games.

Toms River Pride

Annual Reenactment of the Battle of Monmouth

Bring your family to an exciting Living History weekend celebrating the 246th Anniversary of the Battle of Monmouth. Travel back in time to the American Revolution and the year 1778 where the Continental and British armies are preparing to do battle for the future of our nation. Experience two full days of military men at arms, cannons, cavalry, civilians, sutlers and more. See battle reenactments each day along with military encampments and special programs. This is where the legend of Molly Pitcher began. A food vendor will be on site and handicapped parking is available. A suggested donation of $10.00 per car is requested to help cover the cost of the event. Come early for a full day of living history.

Rose Squared Art Show Spring Brookdale Park

Raritan Native American Heritage Celebration & PowWow

Raritan PowWow is a full contest PowWow attracting over 500 Native American artists, educators, singers, dancers and performing groups from across the Americas. There will be over 40 artist booths selling crafts, jewelry, food and more. Other highlights of the event include authentic cuisine: buffalo burgers, venison stew and corn soup. Visitors can interact with representatives from tribes of the Lakota, Navajo, Mohawk, Seneca, Cherokee, Aztec, Mayan, Samoan, Hawaiian and many more. There is a tipi raising.

Frenchtown Pride Week
June 15 – 22

Frenchtown is proud to host its sixth Annual Frenchtown PRIDE, celebrating love and acceptance for all, including the queer community. The event begins on June 15 with a Pride Flag Giveaway at Frenchtown United Methodist Church from 1 PM to 3 PM, followed by the installation of pride flags downtown on June 16. Other highlights include Queer Kickball on June 18 and Pride Chalking on June 20. The festivities culminate on June 22 with the World’s Shortest Pride Parade and a post-parade picnic at Sunbeam Lenape Park. All residents and visitors supporting equality are encouraged to join.
