2 Year Anniversary! Thank YOU for Supporting NJIB!
Two years ago today I started a blog that I didn’t think anyone would read or see. Today I am a business. Crazy.
The past two years have been very good to me. I have been on lots of New Jersey adventures, been invited to lots of great events, reviewed lots of restaurants, breweries, and vineyards and made friends along the way. This past year I reached by 100th diner review and realized how many french fries I’ve eaten in the last two years. I was even mentioned on Nerdist Podcast!
As rewarding as doing this website is, there are times that negative people and their comments affect me. I do this website out of nothing but love, I devote all my time to it, so when someone posts a negative comment on a blog post or social media post it hurts. Please remember to be kind! Being kind costs you nothing, being mean and negative brings other people down. BE the change! Before you post something rude, think about who it effects and if you really need to post it. EVERYONE has feelings.
I can’t thank the people enough who have been nothing but supportive. Really. Truly. It drives me and keeps me going. I do this website for YOU…not me.
Anyway…
A lot has changed but somethings remain the same…
Things I have been consistent about since the mere beginnings:
– Diner reviews every Sunday at 6pm. I have every diner listed on my site, and if I reviewed them I will put the review right under the diner info. I also have them all together on Pinterest.
– Events; Nerdy in NJ, Wine, Craft Beer and Food Truck Events. All updated weekly
– Lists of diners, food trucks and other great food in NJ
– Day Trip Ideas including towns to visit, flea markets, aquariums, zoos, sports areas and more
NJIB is now 100% focused on events and things to do in New Jersey. We offer a weekly “Things to Do this Weekend” post which is posted every Tuesday at 6pm. We also tell you about our day trips and adventures on the website as well as on Instagram. Discovering new things to do in New Jersey has always been a passion of mine and I’m so happy I can share it with you readers.
