June is a great month for beer and wine because it celebrates the end of Spring and the beginning of Summer! From the Hop Sauce Festival, Wildwood Beer Fest, Monmouth Park’s Wine & Chocolate Festival, South Jersey Wine & Music Festival, and much more there is plenty to do this June.

6th Annual Hop Sauce Festival
June 1, 11AM – 6PM

Kick off summer at the beach at Hop Sauce Fest 2019, presented by Jetty and Spice It Up, and benefiting Jetty Rock Foundation’s Oyster Recycling Program! With over 50 local and national breweries, 30 hot sauces, a family friendly atmosphere and games, 4 bands bringing you live music all day, this is a gathering that craft beer and spice enthusiasts will not want to miss!

Jersey Shore Wine Festival
June 1 & 2, 12PM – 5PM

On Saturday, June 1 through Sunday, June 2, festival goers can look forward to sampling wines from a nice variety of award-winning Garden State wineries. In addition to wine tastings, there will also be live entertainment, as well as crafters, retail vendors and food vendors. The festival will be held each day from 12 p.m. noon to 5 p.m. ET., rain or shine.

Czig Meister Brewing Company 3 Year Anniversary & Craft Market
June 8, 12PM – 10PM

Czig Meister Brewing is celebrating their 3rd anniversary. The craft artisan market hosted by Marketspace Vendor Events is free to the public. There will be special anniversary bottle releases, live music, local food, and discounts on merchandise. This event is free to attend, family-friendly, and dogs are permitted in the tasting room and outdoor biergarten.

Pitman Brews Cruise
June 8, 1PM – 7PM

25 mile bicycle ride through South Jersey departing from The Caffeinated Cyclist and ending at Kelly Green and Human Village Breweries in Pitman. All riding levels are welcome!! Each rider receives: 1 beer glass, 1 complimentary beer from Human Village Brewing Company and 1 complimentary beer from Kelly Green.

Wildwood Beer Fest
June 8, 2 Sessions

The Wildwood Beer Fest is a beer tasting event to celebrate the art of locally brewed craft beer. Located in Fox Park, between E. Burk and E. Montgomery Aves in Wildwood, NJ – this festival, now in its 5th year, will be equally exciting for the brew aficionado and novice alike. A ticket will grant you access to 100+ brews, a commemorative tasting cup, live tunes, delicious food and craft vendors. Beer sampling is included with your ticket, food and merchandise is available for purchase.

Run the Vineyards – Old Country 10K & 5K

This event features an attractive and shaded Flat Course beginning and ending at Amalthea Cellars. The majority of course is on paved roads. Finish on their beautiful grounds and patio while enjoying wine and live music. Choose your distance and finish at your own running pace. Glass of Wine and Souvenir Wine Glass at Finish! Brewer’s Brunch Extravanganza

Downtown Wildwood Inaugural Seafood & Wine Festival
June 15 & 16

Each day of the festival will bring you some of the Best Food Trucks from the tri-state area along with some far and near Artisan & Seafood Related Vendors, Free Family and Kids Activities (to include but not limited to Corn Hole, Kam Jam, Lawn Jenga, Connect Four, and Face Painting and Bounce House for the kids). There will be Wine & Craft Beer Tasting & sale in Garden/Tent area. Live Band and DJ Music throughout the day. Summer Solstice Jazz and Wine
June 21, 5:30PM – 8:30PM

Rutgers Gardens is proud to partner with New Brunswick Jazz to present Summer Solstice Jazz and Wine featuring Swingadelic. Upright bassist Dave Post gathered his jazz & blues playing friends together to play engagements at New York City’s Supper Club, Swing 46 and Windows On The World, the former restaurant atop of the World Trade Center. Bring a blanket or chair and join us in the Roy DeBoer Evergreen Garden at 5:30 pm. The music begins at 6:30 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. Wine from Unionville Vineyards will be available to purchase by the glass. Due Mari will be joining us with some of their most popular menu items from the restaurant. No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed.

Battleship Beer Fest
June 22, 1PM – 5PM

Join the NJBA for the 23rd Anniversary of this festival featuring only New Jersey breweries aboard the Battleship New Jersey. Your ticket will include a free self-guided tour of the nation’s most decorated ship. There will be live music and food available for purchase. VIP tickets get in one hour early (12pm) with exclusive access to one-offs and other limited edition brews.

Monmouth Park’s Wine & Chocolate Festival
June 22 & 23

New Jersey’s finest wineries are back for another weekend of elegant wine tasting as are some of the area’s best chocolatiers and dessert vendors. 2019 Sip Into Summer Wine Festival
June 22 & 23, 12PM – 5PM

Join 13 New Jersey wineries for a great weekend of wine sampling, live musical entertainment, food trucks and more at the Sip Into Summer Wine Festival June 22 – 23 from noon to 5 pm at the Gloucester County Fairgrounds in Mullica Hill, NJ. Samplers must be 21+. Sampler admission includes wine glass, sampling and sales of more than 200 New Jersey wines. Participating wineries are: Auburn Road Vineyards, Autumn Lake Winery, Cedar Rose Vineyards, Chestnut Run Farms, DiMatteo Vineyards, Four Sisters Winery, Plagido’s Winery, Terra Nonno Winery, Tomasello Winery, Valenzano Winery, Villari Vineyards, Wagonhouse Winery and Whitehorse Winery. Food Trucks present include: The Flying Pie Guy, Carolina Blue, PJ Wing, Polish Water, House Of Cupcake, Ms. Fu’s Yummy Food Truck Musical entertainment provided by Steaking Savannah on Saturday and Mario & the Slyders on Sunday.There will be artisan crafters and a Kid’s Zone (small fee may apply).

Head out to any Old York Cellars location for a glass of wine, cheese samples from Cabot Creamery, acoustic vibes, and a good time all around! We’ll provide the free entertainment, a fully stocked wine bar, and ice cold wine slushies (winery only) so you can sit back and enjoy your weekend.

Cabot Farmer Ambassador Allison Akins – who tours the nation on behalf of Cabot’s dairy farmers as a member of the co-operative’s Gratitude Touring Team, spreading goodwill and supporting local community initiatives- will be providing samples of the world’s best cheddar on Saturday at the winery. Cheese samples will be provided Saturday and Sunday at all Old York Cellars locations.

Ocean County’s favorite Summer kick off party is back for their 21st year! Island Heights Fire Company is proud to present Summerbrew 2019! For year 21 they are looking to have the best time yet, and are happy to announce some of their favorite beers are coming back with Icarus Brewing Company, Palaweno Beer Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, and many more to be provided by Silverton Buy Rite. As always it’s all you can eat and drink once inside, and the party will get kicked off by some great performances by the band Screaming Broccolli! This event is 21 and older only and is a rain or shine event.

Come out and enjoy the day on this growing farm, sampling wine from locals and listening to local musicians. Food Trucks, Vendors, Kids Activities. With sounds from two local musicians: Saturday: Stealing Savannah, Sunday: No Relation Band, these bands can play! So bring your dancing shoes. Wine tasting tents from local wineries will be on site, and numerous vendors that will have unique handmade items. The local food vendors include The Runaway Chef, Top Chef Mobile Cuisine, and Tacos Al Carbon.
