Chiller Theatre – October 24th-26th
The Chiller Theatre Toy, Model and Film Expo, held twice a year at the Parsippany Sheraton aka the Tara Hotel in April and Oct, is your Premiere Convention for all things Cool! Zombie Outbreak – Oct 24 & 25
A mysterious plague is spreading like wildfire among the population causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. Not to fear, the Zombie Contingency Agency has been called into action to protect the public from the undead menace. Take shelter from the zombie horde in our fortified refugee center. All is well. What could possibly go wrong? Zombie Outbreak is part of the Operation Halloween event held Friday and Saturday, October 24-25 at the Joseph A. Citta Scout Reservation At Brookville, NJ. In addition to the Zombie Outbreak attraction, Operation Halloween will feature the Jersey Devil Hayride and Pumpkin Street for kids. Tickets are good for unlimited re-entry to all attractions for one day. 100% of profits will benefit the various participating non-profit groups.

Atlantic City Cinefest/Downbeach Film Festival: Oct 24 – 26
The mission of the Downbeach Film Festival/Atlantic City Cinefest is to present a cultural event for residents of and visitors to the communities of Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, Longport, Ocean City and beyond.
The festival promotes new films, as well as filmmakers and actors, all in an effort to celebrate the art form of moviemaking. We are rooted in the celebration of independent and studio film, and the creation of a form where local and other independent filmmakers can exhibit their work.
Our event also provides novice and aspiring filmmakers, actors, and others interested in a career in the film business, the opportunity to meet and network with industry professionals in an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and mentoring.

SJ Geek fest is a celebration of your geekery featuring comics, tabletop games, video games, youtubers, cosplayers and more.

Zombie Crawl at the Lake Hopatcong Elks – Oct 25
Zombies, Vampires, and undead creatures of all kinds are expected to turn out in full make up. Open to Monster enthusiasts of all ages! Participants will crawl along a 1 mile haunted trail. The walking undead will cease their lumbering at 6pm. 6-10pm is the After-Life Party. Music, food, fun, & more! Toast Your Way Into Fall Festival at Jakes Branch Park– Oct 25 & 26
Toast your way into the fall season at New Jersey’s best new wine festival! The “Autumn Wine Festival at Jakes Branch Park” will be taking place this Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26 from 12 noon to 5pm daily in Beachwood, NJ. The Autumn Wine Festival at Jakes Branch Park will feature 10 of New Jersey’s finest wineries including: Auburn Road Vineyards, Coda Rossa Winery, DiMatteo Vineyard, Plagido’s Winery, Renault Winery, Sharrott Winery, Tomasello Winery, Valenzano Winery, Ventimiglia Vineyard, and Wagonhouse Winery. Wineries will be offering samples and sales of more than 150 wines, including their very best varietals and seasonal favorites.

Hallowine Weekend – Oct 25 & 26
Dress up for a free tasting, “Costume” Wine Labels, Pumpkin Give-away, Mulled Wine, Cheesecake & Pumpkin Butter Tastings. Don’t let the kids have all the fun this All Hallows’ Eve. It’s the grown-ups turn to have a good time on the vineyard at our HalloWINE Weekend. It will be a SCREAM! Come in costume and get a complimentary wine tasting. Take a picture at our “costume” label station and get it put on a bottle of wine. Sample Pecan Pumpkin Butter from Muirhead Foods and Pumpkin Cheesecake from Maddalenas.

Smithville Zombie Walk – Oct 26
Vendors, entertainment and prizes. Zombies walk at 6pm. Free! No registration required! When Hell is full…zombies will walk Smithville! Join us for a day of vendors, music, entertainment and prizes. This is an all day event. Zombies will walk at 6pm. Raffle Of The Living Dead at 6:30 pm. Come dressed as a zombie (or zombie hunter) and participate for free, or have your make up done in front of Underground for $5. No registration required. Every person in costume receives a free raffle ticket at Underground. Itinerary will be posted on this page as info becomes available.
