Grape Gallop – May 7


RUN.  WALK.  TASTE.  Grape Gallop is the outdoor social event that pairs exercise and wine tasting. 5K run or walk through picturesque Alba Vineyard.  After the race, grab a glass and stimulate your taste buds by sampling Alba’s award-winning wines.

Spring Wine Festival at Unionville Vineyards – May 7

New Jersey Wine Events - Spring Wine Fest

It’s the 23rd (or so) annual Spring Wine Festival at Unionville Vineyards! Rock with John Beacher (12-3pm) and the The Brummy Brothers (3-6pm). Walk the vineyard and tour the winery with our winemaking team. Enjoy delicious bites from food trucks, or relax on the sprawling farmland with a bottle of your favorite while enjoying the music. While checking out the latest wares from the craft vendors, be on the lookout for a strolling magician in the crowd! Kids can fly kites on the lawn, or paint a flowerpot for mom (it is Mother’s Day Weekend after all). Of course, every admission comes with a wine tasting and a complimentary Unionville glass to keep. Enjoy delicious brick oven pizzas from Antimo’s Italian Kitchen: Trattoria & Pizzeria , and other delectables from the Fork in the Road NJ food truck. Desserts dished up by Nina’s Waffles & Sweets.

Grape Stomping at Four Sisters Winery – May 14


Take your shoes and socks off for some barefoot grape stomping. Formal wine tasting, delicious spaghetti and meatballs, wine cellar tour, and a tasting of dessert wines.

Wine & Waddle 2016 at the Vineyard – May 21


Mid-Atlantic Basset Hound Rescue Holds its 5th Annual Wine & Waddle pet-friendly, family-friendly day at the vineyard fundraiser.
Ringoes, NJ –The non-profit group Mid Atlantic Basset Hound Rescue will hold their fourth annual Wine and Waddle at Old York Cellars in Ringoes, NJ on Saturday, May 21, 2016

The Wine & Waddle 2016 is open to the general public. This is a family friendly event that includes four legged family members too. Wine & Waddle 2016 will begin at 12 PM and run until 4 PM. This heartfelt event will include great food, live music with the Sun Dog Country; face painting, a petting zoo, more than 40 vendors offering merchandise for the home and specialty products and services for pets. A pet groomer will be on site to do pet ear cleanings as well as nail clippings. There will be a blessing of the pets to be held at 1pm. They will also be holding Canine Good Citizen testing. The vineyards will be open for a majestic walk through the many rows of vines and dogs are welcome on the walk. Wine tasting will be available for guests over age 21. Guests are encouraged to bring their folding chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy relaxing on the winery’s beautiful property or in the vineyards.

Mid-Atlantic Basset Hound Rescue is a non-profit organization 501c3 and 100% of all funds donated to or raised by the organization are used to the care of the dogs. The funds are used to rescue Basset Hounds from animal shelters, take in dogs whose owners can no longer care for them, find foster homes, give the dogs any and all needed veterinary care, including but not limited to heartworm/Lymes testing, updating vaccinations and accessing any and all behavioral issues. Without events like the Wine & Waddle the organization would not be able to continue to help these homeless hounds. The Wine & Waddle 2016 special event will help the rescue group to help many more dogs in the coming year.

Chesterfest Wine Festival – May 22


Bring your family and friends to Working Dog Winery for the sixth annual Chesterfest Wine Festival, immediately following the Hair of the Dog 5K. Come and enjoy award-winning wines, food trucks, great music by the Pennington Station Band, complimentary tasting glass, and of course endless fun!

Blues and BBQ Wine Event at Natali Vineyards -Apr 30

Join us for our Memorial Day Celebration of Blues & BBQ on May 29th from 2-7pm. Enjoy the music of blues singer Danny Eyer. Wine tastings, wine by the bottle or glass, sangria and wine slushies. Local artisan and food vendors will be on hand. Our events are always free admission and rain or shine. Children & pets welcome!!

The Lakewood BlueClaws and Sylvia’s Children invite you to participate in the 6th annual Jersey Shore Wine Festival at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, NJ. This exciting two day event will feature New Jersey wineries plus food, crafters, vendors and live music. The event is easily accessible to people from New York City, Philadelphia, Delaware and, of course, all the Jersey Shore towns.

Wine and Chocolate Festival – June 25 & 26

Grab your friends and family and get your sweet tooth ready for a weekend filled with wine and chocolate! What better way to spend the day than indulging in free samples and heading home with one of your favorite wines and a variety of chocolaty treats.

With two full days, you can take your time enjoying samples from a dozen of New Jersey’s best wineries and browsing through chocolates in the Chocolate Lounge. Buy a bottle and hangout for the day in our picnic area. Both days will have live music and plenty of entertainment! During Family Fun Day on Sunday, give the kids the experience of FREE pony rides, a bouncy house, face painting, and more!
