Cocktails for a Cause: Valentine’s Wine and Beer Tasting – Feb 5


The Marine Mammal Stranding Center will be holding its 2nd wine and beer tasting fundraiser. This event will be from 6 – 9 pm. Circle Liquor of Somers Point will be hosting a selection of over 50 beers and wines to sample. There will also be food, entertainment and great atmosphere! All proceeds from this event will benefit the Marine Mammal Stranding Center so please come out to support New Jerseys marine life!

Sharrott Winery’s Wine and Chocolate Weekend – Feb 6, 7 and 12,13, 14


Wine tasting is $10 per person and includes 6 samples of our award-winning wines and a souvenir glass. Groups of 8 or more are $12 per person and must have a reservation. Wine Club members taste for FREE.

Additionally, on Feb 12 & 13, 2016 6pm – 9pm: Enjoy Live Music featuring Chris Huff (Friday) and Patrick Stoner (Saturday) in their candlelit Barrel Room with that special someone. FREE. Seating is limited; first come, first served.

Alba Vineyard’s Wine and Chocolate Weekends – February 6 & 7 and 13 & 14


Make this Valentine’s Day one to remember by spending it with someone special at Alba Vineyard. Treat your valentine to samples of award winning wines paired with exquisite chocolates and wonderful culinary treats!

We will feature Crave Caterers, a premier off-premise catering division of Landmark Hospitality, in the New York metro area. They will offer samples of amazing food specialities to pair with our wines.

Jean-Paul (“JP”) Hepp, founder and co-owner of Chocodiem, Clinton, NJ, will join us. Chocodiem strives to bring Old World Belgian quality to the U.S., handmaking the finest artisan chocolates with distinctive flavors and designs that will redefine the gourmet standard. JP will offer samples of his unique artisan chocolates to pair with Alba’s dessert wines. A collection of assorted pralines, truffles, and other chocolate treats will be available for sale.

Sharrott Winery Romantic Barrel Room Wine Tasting & Food Pairing – Feb 13-14


Our main event for Valentine’s Day is our Seated Tasting and Food Pairing in our candlelit Barrel Room, transformed just for this holiday. We are again partnering with Kitchen 19 right here in Hammonton to bring you a truly unique wine experience. Enjoy 5 courses, served small-plate style, expertly paired with Sharrott’s award-winning wines. A one-of-a-kind, very romantic experience!

Celebrate St. Valentine and all his delights with your valentine at Bellview Winery.As part of the Garden State Wine Growers Association’s Chocolate & Wine Trail Weekend they will be accompanying their wines with delectable chocolates from Le Qualite, an amazing local chocolatier. Also, an acoustic guitarist will be setting the mood for you and your special someone. Wine and chocolate along with an acoustic guitarist? Your Valentine’s Day just got a lot easier! If the weather is nice they will have some toasty outdoor fire pits rolling for you and your date to cuddle up around, if you’re feeling so bold. Intro to Winemaking – Feb 8, 22, Mar 7, 21 & April 4

This is a two hour hands on interactive event that meets bimonthly on Mondays. The event includes a winetasting and provides a general overview of the winemaking process. During the evening you will participate in three steps that are part of winemaking – Fermenting, Racking and Bottling. Each evening we will start making (Initial fermenting) a new wine, racking a wine which has already undergone fermentation and bottling a wine that has already completed fermentation and has been racked. Each participant will take home two bottles of wine which they have helped bottle. This event will also provide a tasting of several wines previously made. RSVP. Space is limited! Cost is $25.00 per person.

Hawk Haven Winery Premium Wine Tasting – Feb 28

New Jersey Food and Wine Festival – April 1 – 3


The New Jersey Wine & Food Festival at Crystal Springs Resort is a celebration of the world’s best wines and renowned local and national chefs. The weekend’s events are designed to allow food and wine lovers to meet and mingle with chefs, winemakers, sommeliers and fellow wine aficionados.

This year’s exciting line up of events will include The Grand Tasting, an Italian themed Wine Cellar Dinner with award-winning winemaker Sebastiano Rossa from Sassacaia & Biserno, Top Chefs & Top Wines Dinner, tastings of award-winning small production wines, and a variety of exciting seminars with chefs and winemakers from around the world.

Hudson County CASA 10th Annual Wine Tasting – April 8

Hudson County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), will hold its 10th Annual Wine Tasting fundraiser featuring world-class wines, foods and desserts, a premium spirits tasting, cork pull and silent auction will take place on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Battello located at 502 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City. Proceeds from this event support CASA’s advocacy work on behalf of Hudson County foster children.

More than 90 wines selected by Cork Wine & Spirits will be featured at the tasting and accompanied by delicious foods and desserts by Battello. The night will also include a tasting of premium spirits, an exciting silent auction, cork pull, and free valet parking!

Hudson County CASA will honor Traci Telemaque, Esq., the Managing Attorney of New Jersey’s Office of Law Guardian’s Northern Region, several UPS foster families, and CASA volunteers John Sullivan and Carol Kobak at this year’s event. Silent auction items include a one-week stay in Martha’s Vineyard, an African safari and two tickets to Broadway’s Fiddler on the Roof with dinner at Sardi’s.

Tickets may be purchased online for $100 or at the door on the night of the event for $125. A VIP upgrade for access to the premium spirits tasting are available online for an additional $100. Bellview Winery Dandelion Release Weekend – April 23 & 24


On April 23rd and 24th Bellview Winery will be releasing the 2015 vintage of Dandelion wine to the public, for tasting and sale. Alongside Bellview’s newest vintage, they will also be tasting their most recent vintages as well as some that have been aging in their cellar for quite some time! The 2013, 2012, 2011, 2009 and 2006 vintages of Dandelion wine will be available for tasting as a flight so you can taste the dramatic changes in flavor that occur over time with this unique wine.Throughout the day Bellview Winery will also be holding several trailer tours of the vineyard in the full swing of spring! With bud break happening and the vines just waking up from their deep winter sleep it is a great time of year to be in the vineyard. Tours will be held on a first come first serve basis at no charge. Dandelion flight tasting is separate at $5 and includes a taste of the 2015, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2009 and 2006 vintages of our Dandelion wine. Don’t miss an exciting chance to enjoy some Dandelion Wine and a beautiful spring vineyard, we will be!

Waretown Wine Festival – April 23 & 24


On Saturday, April 23, through Sunday, April 24, festival goers can look forward to sampling wines from a nice variety of award-winning Garden State wineries. In addition to wine tastings, there will also be live entertainment, as well as crafters, retail vendors, food vendors, and a children’s play area. The festival will be held each day from 12 p.m. noon to 5 p.m. ET., rain or shine.

The Lakewood BlueClaws and Sylvia’s Children invite you to participate in the 6th annual Jersey Shore Wine Festival at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, NJ.
