Wellness Wednesday: Nature’s Corner Natural Market in Monmouth County
If you’re looking for a one-stop-shop for all things organic and healthy, there’s a supermarket for you! Nature’s Corner, which was established in 1995, is a “grassroots grocer” specializing in natural, organic produce, nutritional vitamins, and an award-winning juice bar.

The brain-child behind Nature’s Corner is Ed Levy who also happens to be a Certified Clinical Nutritionist and Wellness Expert. His goal was to create a premier grassroots destination for all things healthy. The store is designed with the “intelligent, attentive, health-conscious customer in mind”, offering a large selection of organic, local, and natural products.
The store boasts the county’s largest selection of local organic produce, three to four times that of other area stores. That produce is used in their deli, organic salad bar, and their organic juice and smoothie bar.
I enjoyed a “Lean and Green” (dark leafy greens, celery, cucumber, apple) with frozen pineapple.
Their organic Salad Bar & Deli offers fresh soup, healthy wraps, salads, and hot food which includes vegan options. They only the highest quality organic veggies, prepared products and dressings. (I got a salad to-go) Be sure to pick up their popular vegan cocunut rice pudding before it sells out.
Nature’s Corner also has a commitment to keeping things local, everything they label comes from no more than 200 miles away.
If you deal with dietary restrictions you will find a wide selection of diet-specific sections (100% organic, non-gmo, wheat and gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, vegan, raw food and Paleo).
Overall, Nature’s Corner is proud to stock over 40 lines of the finest and cleanest brands in the industry.
Be sure to stroll the aisles for snacks, baking supplied, frozen foods, cereal, oatmeal, and much more to fill your pantries, refridgerators, and freezer. The nice thing about shopping at a small, succint grocery store is that you’re a. not overwhelmed and b. you can shop easily and quickly thanks to their helpful stafff.
I was super impressed by their supplements and vitamin selection which include their own brand. You’ll find a full range of vitamins and minerals from “acai to zinc”.
Different areas of the vitamin/supplement wall are devoted to heart health, joint health, detoxification, sports nutrition, men’s, women’s, and children’s vitamin formulas, amino acids, CBD Hemp Supplements, and cold care. They also carry a full line of homeopathic and herbal remedies.
