The Stafford Diner in Manahawkin: Review
On my way down to LBI I made a stop at the Stafford Diner for a quick lunch. This 24-hour diner is located on Route 72 in Manahawkin.
I was charmed by the exterior of the diner with it’s cherry and yellow chrome look. The interior of the diner was just as charming, and looked like it had been recently renovated. It was very clean and chic, with very cool lighting fixtures.
The Stafford Diner claims to have the most “unique diverse menu at the shore” and I’ll admit they definitely had some creative items on their menu. They make their soup from scratch, offer lots of appetizers, a full list list of salads, gourmet burgers, sandwiches served on their own baked bread, seafood, and Italian, Greek, and Mexican specialties. It’s 12 pages to get through…so it’s a lot to take in.
Ultimately I was looking for something simple, so I went to one of my diner go-tos: a chicken quesadilla.
I loved that it came with guacamole…it was a big selling point. It was also a very hearty meal filled with vegetables. I could barely finish it!
I always enjoy the convenience of a 24-hour diner, and with a menu that anyone can enjoy plus homemade desserts this is definitely a shore diner to check out.
