NJIB’s Guide to New Jersey Spring/Summer Farmers Markets
Spring is finally here, and one of the best ways to celebrate the season is by visiting the many farmer’s markets throughout New Jersey. These markets offer an opportunity to support local farmers and artisans while enjoying fresh, seasonal produce and other goods.
The Garden State is known for its abundance of farms and agricultural products, and the spring season marks the beginning of the growing season for many fruits and vegetables. From asparagus and strawberries to lettuce and radishes, there’s no shortage of delicious and healthy options available at these markets.
In addition, to produce, many New Jersey farmers markets also offer handmade crafts, baked goods, and other artisanal products, making them a great place to find unique gifts or treat yourself to something special.
Visiting a farmers market is not only a fun and enjoyable experience, but it also supports the local economy and promotes sustainable agriculture practices. Whether you’re a longtime resident or a first-time visitor to New Jersey, be sure to check out the many farmers’ markets this Spring.
