Carnival runs from THURSDAY, September 1 (6:00 pm) through SUNDAY, September 4
Parade is on September 3, 2016 – starts at 1:30 pm.

Airfest 2016 – Sept 2nd-5th
AirFest is NASW’s largest annual event & many great new events have been added to the already stellar lineup!

BBQ & Craft Beer Festival – Sept 3rd – 5th
Come celebrate the juiciest, most tender BBQ the Jersey Shore has to offer, served up by some of the Garden State’s best BBQ joints. Ribs, pulled pork, brisket and wash everything down with a great selection of brews in our Craft Beer Garden. It’s just $10 for 10 2-oz samples and there will be over 40 craft beers to chose from.Enjoy everything from fall-off-the-bone ribs, to tender pulled pork, to melt-in-you-mouth brisket. Add in live music all holiday weekend long, three days of craft beers, and three days of heart-pounding Thoroughbred action – there’s no better place to be with friends and family than at Monmouth Park Racetrack on Labor Day Weekend. Sunday and Monday are Family Fun days with free kids activities.

Bacon, Bikes, and Brew Festival – Sept 3rd & 4th
Good beer, food, and amazing music. With a an amazing beer tent, food trucks with bacon-themed items, craft vendors, live bands, children activities, and tours of the historic buildings-there is never a dull moment! There will be displays of historic bikes and motorcycles. The beer tent and garden are new and improved with a larger area and a simplified ticketing system. The event is 11am to 5pm with the ‘last call’ for drinks at 4:45pm September 3rd and 4th. Admission is $8 for adults, 18 years old and older. This event is fundraiser for the Historic Village at Allaire, a 501(c(3)) non-profit museum to help support our educational programming.
No one under 21 years old will be allowed into the beer tent and garden. No dogs will be permitted in the beer tent either, though our four-legged friends are welcome on site. Please no coolers.

Scandinavian Festival – September 4th
Come to ScanFest! It’s an all-day celebration of Scandinavia at its best – where you’ll discover the customs…the history…the ethnic variety of the six Nordic nations: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Visitors and vendors, alike, are invited to catch a Scandinavian moment—to enjoy the refreshing outdoors at our annual festival in rustic Vasa Park.

Wildwood’s Block Party & Music Festival – September 4th
End the summer season at Fox Park (Ocean Avenue between Burk & Montgomery Avenues) in Wildwood from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. This family festival will include crafts, games, rides, great food and continuous FREE live entertainment featuring The Sound of Philadelphia Show with MFSB, Brass Transit, The Blue Notes, The Infernos, Jimmy Lee of Blue Magic, Fat Larry Band, Purple Reign, Jeremiah Hunter, Just In Time, Bittersweet, and 45 RPM.

Riverdale Labor Day Street Fair – Sept 5
The Borough of Riverdale is holding its Annual Labor Day Street Fair. This event will once again be held on the Newark-Pompton Turnpike from Newbury Place to Cotluss Road. The show hours are 10AM-5PM. The street will be transformed into a giant town block party. Our special section in the School parking lot will be brimming with all kinds of fun stuff to do. There will be mechanical kiddie rides, climbing wall, clown, face painting, sand art, temporary tattoos & so much more! There will be live entertainment on stage all day long.
