Millville Queen Diner: Review
The Millville Queen Diner in Millville is the first diner in Cumberland County that I’ve visited so far. 1 down, 6 more to go!
Located on Broad Street, The Millville Diner is a 24 hour diner that was established in 1995. Based on their sign, they pride themselves in dinner specials which include steak, veal, seafood, and pasta. I was told the diner had been through a recent renovation, and I can say that the interior was very clean and well put together.
In addition to their specials, the diner has your typical diner fare ranging from breakfast all day (impressive breakfast menu by the way), sandwiches, salads etc. What’s great about a 24 hour diner is being able to eat anything off their menu any time during the day. You can also try the “Millville Queen Wrap” which had turkey, ham, roast beef and cheese.
After much debate on what to eat, I opted for a chicken cheesesteak.
Massive portion! For some reason I was dumb and ate the whole thing, when half of it was more than enough for me. Very delicious though!
The biggest thing that stood out to me during our visit was their rotating dessert case featuring beautiful and enticing cakes. Good thing I was outrageously full, otherwise I would have definitely had a slice!
Overall, The Millville Queen Diner was a very standard diner visit. I will add that our waitress (whose name I regrettably did not get) was one of the friendliest waitresses I’ve ever had and was extremely attentive to our table. Generally all the food on the menu was affordable, which is a big plus in my book. No major pros or cons, so I feel like I don’t have too much to say about it (which is sometimes a good thing). If you’re in the area, I’d recommend it!
