Butler Diner and Family Restaurant: Review
It’s not every day you discover a gem like the Butler Diner, located in downtown Butler, New Jersey. Located on Main St, this cute diner has a home town vibe which attracts a local crowd and made me wish I lived closer.
My first impression of the diner was of how friendly and inviting it was. It was right before Thanksgiving and they were decked out for Fall which was really cute.
For a small diner, they have a lot of personality and a big menu. They have your regular classics, but they also have a lot of unique items that set them apart. If you like sandwiches, this is the diner for you because their sandwich list is impressive with A LOT of things to choose from. Their breakfast list was amazing as well, my goodness do they have some awesome pancake, waffle, and French Toast options.
I could not stop looking over the menu, it was so hard for me to make a decision. But my eyes were drawn to one thing from the start, so I knew I’d regret not getting it…
The Butler Diner had a lot of unique…quesadillas. Yes, not just your standard quesadilla but creative options. These creative options include a “Greek Quesadilla” (chicken, feta, diced tomatoes, and olives), the Cheesesteak Quesadilla, and the Pulled Pork Rodeo Quesadilla (pulled pork, cheddar, bacon, and chipolte BBQ) just to name a few. Oh yeah…and they make their own guacamole.
I decided on getting a Chicken Parmigiana Quesadilla and was very, very happy with it.
It was big, it was tasty, and I can definitely say I’ve never had anything like it before. The bread chicken was DELICIOUS, and the tortilla was crispy. I loved it, and would definitely recommend it.
Overall, the food and the service were fantastic at this diner and I would definitely recommend it. With plenty of fun dining options, this is a diner that you will want to come to again and again.
