Brick Diner: Review
As I near close to my 150th diner review, I decided to check out the Brick Diner located on Route 70 in Brick for my 148th. When I was last in Brick reviewing a different diner there was a lot of comments about how much they loved the Brick Diner, so I decided to check it out for myself.
Formally known as the Ocean Queen Diner, the Brick Diner is a cozy diner with lots of amazing menu items to choose from. They have remodeled but the interior still has a lot of chrome inside so I was happy.
They had plenty of options from breakfast all day, homemade soups, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees etc etc. What stood out to me was all of their Greek specialty items on their menu, so that’s what I ended up getting.
I know I order it a lot, but there’s something special to me about a Chicken Souvlaki platter. I just love marinated grilled chicken on a pita! It’s good, it’s healthy, and I’ve never been disappointed. The Brick Diner’s chicken souvlaki was one of the best I’ve ever had.
It’s a completely colorful platter from the pita itself to the Greek salad. The salad came with big chunks of feta cheese which I LOVED. Overall, it was an amazing meal that left me completely full. I could barely finish my fries! (Which were awesome by the way)
In addition to their menu, they do all baking on premises so you know you’re getting an amazing dessert. Although they looked great, I ultimately passed. However I was tempted by their healthy smoothie menu. Maybe another time!
