Brewery Review: Belford Brewing Company
Apparently I’m on a brewery kick! Last week I reviewed Carton Brewing, but the same day I also visited Belford Brewing which is only 8 minutes from there.
Belford Brewing Company is still on the newer side. However, this small brewery offers a lot of craft beers to try!
BUT before you try the beer, you must go on the tour! This tour was short and sweet, and hosted by the brewery owner! This is a family run brewery which is pretty cool!
Once you’re done with the tour, you can try their beer in sample size or pints individually. Or you can do what I did and try a “school” which allows you to try all their beers for $12. Not too shabby.
If you go the school route, you get tokens to redeem for beers. Beers are set individual at a different token prices.
While I was there they had 8 beers on tap. They are always creating new things, but they always have the “Core 5”. Depending on when you go you can be trying something completely different.
Beers I Tried ->
The Core 5:
– Striper – Wit 4.8% ABV
– Wares Creek – Pale Ale 5.8% ABV
– Lobster Pot – Nut Brown Ale 6% ABV
– Pro-Multis – Belgian Tripel 9.4% ABV
– Crowweed- Stout 6% ABV
Seasonal:
– Leonardville – Lager 5.4% ABV
– Flannel – Spice Ale 6.2% ABV
– Horseshoe – Maibock 6.2% ABV
Overall, I had a great time hanging out there and drinking beer. I also enjoyed having these snacks along with my beer. It was a nice touch.
I left there with another 64 oz growler to add to my collection on NJ Brewery growlers. I’m running out of space.
Drink local and support this small brewery so they can continue to grow!
