Arts Guild New Jersey in Rahway Celebrates 15 Years
This Sunday, Arts Guild New Jersey celebrates 15 years of programming in Rahway, NJ. The “15@15” exhibit will be on display from Sunday, March 23rd – Thursday, April 17th. Gallery Hours are Mon-Thurs 10am-3pm, Fri: 10am to 1pm, Sat & Sun: 1-4pm or by appointment for groups of 10 or more. The exhibition is wheelchair accessible.
Arts Guild New Jersey is a non-profit gallery located on 1670 Irving St. You’ll know you’re there when you see the big “Art” sign on the front yard.
The gallery itself used to be the Rahway Library. When you go inside check out the huge stained glass ceiling.
On Sunday, March 23rd from 1pm – 4pm they are hosting a free, opening reception for their new exhibit “15@15” and providing light refreshments. The reception is open to the public. The exhibit will be curated by Lawrence Cappiello, executive director of Arts Guild New Jersey who was one of it’s founding members.
The exhibit will feature a wide range of different art from artists who have exhibited their art in the Arts Guild’s 15 year history. These artists are: Aric Calfee, Pam Cooper, Susan Evans Grove, Patricia Brentano, Karen Nielsen-Fried, Grigory Gurevich, Fausto Sevilla, Robert Kogge, Sarah Petruziello, Lisa Ficarelli Halpern William Oliwa, Dan Fenelon, Abby Levine, Carol Fein Schwartz and Kelly Vetter.
