Vincentown Diner: 150th Diner Review

I can’t believe it…this is my 150th diner review! For this important milestone, I decided to visit a NJ diner that a lot of people have recommended to me…the Vincentown Diner.

Located on Route 206 in Burlington County, the Vincentown Diner is a diner that focuses on serving fresh and local food. Their motto is “not your average diner” which is something after 150 diners in I can attest to. The diner was even recently show on “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives“, something that they are very proud of.

The Vincentown Diner prides themselves on being an establishment that promises fresh, local American dining. They use organic local eggs, local produce, fruits, honey, bread and coffee just to name a few things! They also have a full bar where they offer local craft beer from New Jersey and Pennsylvania breweries, and wine from Valenzano Winery.

Their menu has EVERYTHING. Big salads, creative sandwiches, a full breakfast menu offered all day, impressive burgers, and a list of comfort food that will blow your mind. Two things on their menu that stood out were the “Mile High Meatloaf”a housemade meatloaf stacked on garlic mashed potatoes, smothered with gravy, topped with frizzled onions (featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives), and their “Volcano Burger”, a burger topped with thick-cut bacon, melted pepper jack cheese, steak cut onion rings, chipotle and horseradish sauce.

I was there for brunch time so I decided to treat myself since it was my 150th diner. I started with a chai latte, which was DELICIOUS. It was new to their menu, and it had the perfect combo of honey, black tea, spices, and whipped cream.

For my main meal I got “Jersey Jim’s Famous Sweet Potato Pancakes”, three giant sweet potato pancakes that were tasty and nutritious. I finished about half of it.

Look at those potatoes!

Making a decision for brunch was pretty impossible since everything on their brunch menu sounded amazing. Next time I go there I intend to get the “Piney Pancakes” which had local NJ cranberries and apples OR the “Apple Pie French Toast” which was also featured on “Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives”. Here is my husband’s “Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Sammy”:

Vincentown Diner is famous for their homemade dessert…but I was just too full. Another day…

Overall, I loved the ambiance and the food at the Vincentown Diner. It may have been my 150th diner, but it won’t be my last time visiting there.
